The room fell silent from a moment ,king Evander then stood up walking over towards a bar. "I don't know where my manners are, he announced across the room "I guess I got to excited when I heard you were at the front gate." He reached behind him and took some champagne glasses from a hanging shelf. " I've longed for this day." He added,

He took out a bottle of champagne and filled the glasses his eye looked at the glass he was filling instead of his grandchildren but they could hear the apologetic sound in his voice "But I just didn't know how to explain, my lack of aging to you." he said popping the cork from the top. He waved his hand in the air excitedly shouting over to them " Come, Come let's celebrate the day."

The two Royal couples stepped over picking up a glass of the sweet bubbly stuff, they raised their glasses in the air, "May our family always be together from now on"

Alex proposed a toast, to have them all gently bump their glasses together in the air. .

King Evander raised his thick dark eyebrows and glanced over to his older great grandson. "Alexander I hear in the news we have something else to celebrate. How are things going with your wedding presentations"

Alex swallowed the gulp of champagne in his mouth, immediately inviting him.

" Grandfather, I'm glad you ask, because I would be honored if you could come"

King Evander patted his oldest grandsons shoulder his voice full of admiration. "Alexander, there is nothing I would like better then to be with you and Jackson. I've tried to follow everything the two of you do through the news papers and television.

But have you thought how your going to explain to people that your great grandfather looks the same age as you do."

" Who said anyone needs to know your my Great Grandfather, wouldn't an-introduction of King Evander, be good enough for people." Alex cocked his head to the side as if in question, with a sly smile on his face.

His great grandfather lifted his glass, with a smile of approval " I guess, I will be seeing you Thursday night. At Eddington Castle." He uttered, his acceptance of the invention before he turned his glass up and drank the contents in one big gulp.

Setting the glass back on top of the bar . He Turning his eyes on his younger grandson, "Since your girl was raised as a human do you plan to get married the human way too?" He ask Jackson, sweeping his eyes over to the girl standing beside his youngest grandson.

" Yes, and I hope you can be there. If I get the old Mansion on Black Rock Island,wired for electricity this week, I plan to get married there right after Alex comes back from his honeymoon. Jackson informed him.

"I think you made an excellent choice, that place holds so many good memories for me. But" He shook his head, before he continued, with a sorrowful voice. " but I haven't been back there for a long time. You see , I always tried to meet your grandmother and your father there so they wouldn't need to explain anything to anyone." King Evander explained.

Looking at his great grandfather who could pass for his brother . Made his mind wonder ,on what his grandfather just said about his, is Karmen still going to be a young hottie when he's old and gray. He hoped not, he had hoped to extend her life through the mating ritual and having children,in hopes she would age almost at the same rate as him.

"Grandfather do you think Karmen will live a long time." Jackson Curiously ask, seeing how youthful his grandfather appeared to be.

"It's hard to say, I wondered the same thing with my children. As you know your grandmother passed away, but my son your great uncle is still alive." He sighed heavily and took a deep breath. Continuing what he was telling him

"I just have a feeling your grandmother died of a broken heart. Because of your father and grandfather's death being so close together. I think she felt like she just couldn't go on without them." He said bowing his head,mumbling something that sounded like a little prayer. Before he brought his head back up to look at his youngest grandson .

"The book I gave to your beautiful little fiancé doesn't have healing and wellness chants in it. But witches know them, if you know a witch they may be able to help your wife with her magic." He said sounding like he was trying to encourage her to learn how to use magic as well as the demon powers he said she possesses.

Jackson stood ideal thinking about what his grandfather just said. He was a little apprehensive to let karmen be around a witch, because his grandfather had told him witches were the ones to stay away from.

They could possibly want to harm Karmen because of her demon blood. His grandfather suddenly chuckled, Jackson brought his head up to look around to see what was going on that his grandfather thought was funny. " Don't worry about witches, knowing about her they can't listen to her heart beat. Like Vampires and demons " Jackson drew his brows together, did he say that out loud, no he don't think he did. His grandfather brought his hand up patting his shoulder " there's something I must warn you about demons, I can hear your thoughts. So let me try to answer your questions the best way I can. A demon needs to reveal their self to a witch, that's the reason for the seductive scent of their blood to work on a demons weakness. You see it's only demons who can smell that alluring fragrance and when a demon would comment on that scent that is when the witches would try to kill them."
