Sleeping arrangements

As usual when Lexi and Alex stepped into the dining room Jackson and Karmen were already setting at the table. Jackson had already sent the kitchen stuff breakfast orders for everyone and Brenda had just pushed her serving cart into the dining room to serve everyone their drinks.

Alex and Lexi took their seats , both of them immediately pulled their phones out of their pocket. Alex check the arrival time of Lexi's parents flight and Lexi texted her mom. Brenda the kitchen helper was busy serving everyone there drinks, she pushed her cart around the table , with no need to ask anyone what they wanted .She had her morning routine down pat by now.

After serving everyone she quietly pushed her cart out of the room,leaving the two couples in the dining room alone.

Jackson glanced over at Alex breaking the silence "Alex , Karmen and I are going to fly back to Black Rock Island this morning but we're not staying the night .We will be back this evening probably around dinner time."

Alex pulled his head up from his phone slipping it back into his pocket glancing over towards him before he answered "That's fine, if you get side tracked and can't make it back it will be okay . Lexi's mom and dad are the only two guest arriving today .They won't be here until eleven and I have already arranged for them to have a military escort from the air base."

Listening to what Alex was saying made him wonder if he and Karmen needed to stay at their house this week to leave all the bedrooms in the Castle open for the guest who will be arriving soon." How many guest will be staying here in the Castle this week? "He curiously ask

" Just Lexi and Karmen's parents Lexi's grandparents and Ethan ,maybe great grandfather depending when he shows up."

Jackson chuckled , amusement filled his voice " have you decided where your going to put Lexi's grandparents?"

Alex brought the sliver goblet down from his mouth with a broad smile on his face.

" I haven't really thought about sleeping arrangements yet, but I was thinking about putting Nana and paw-paw beside you." Alex chuckled and Karmen cringed from the thought of seeing Paw-paw in the nude.

" Well that would be a hoot "Jackson stammered out, chucking along with Alex.

Karmen choked on her coffee shouting "I'm moving to Lexi's old room. I'm not sleeping beside nana and paw-paw."

Alex brought his hand up rubbing his chin, looking lost in thought. " You know that's not a bad idea, I will have the maids move all of your things to Lexi's old room.Then I can put Lexi's parents in my old room and your parents in Jackson's room. Nana and paw-paw can stay in the room across the hall from Lexi's mom and dad. That way Lexi's mom can help keep an eye on them. I can put Ethan across the hall from us keeping all the younger people in East wing.

" That's not a bad plan Alex that way all the younger people will be on one side of the Castle so that we don't disturb the older ones." He paused for a moment, then continued with his thoughts " that works but what about great grandfather, he may be as old as the Castle but the way he was sniffing around on Karmen I don't think he acts like it."

Alex thought about it for a moment, and Jackson was right their great grandfather was almost as old as the Castle .But he looks twenty five and he was sniffing around on Karmen like a dog in heat.

He tapped his finger on the table for a moment to give it a little thought. Finally he made up his mind, and shared his thoughts with everyone. " I think I know what to do with him , I can put him beside Ethan. They may want to go to the Black Diamond together."

Jackson hummus nodding his head in approval " I think, Great Grandfather and Ethan will really hit it off, and your right they may want to go to the Black Diamond together. I'm pretty good at reading people and great grandfather just seems like that type."

karmen scrunch her face up, as she thought about what he just said. She shook her shoulders slightly cringing about what just ran through her mind. Jackson leaned back to look at her, he sounded a bit concerned "Babe, what's wrong are you getting sick, are you having chills or something?"

She nodded her head babbling about what she was going through her head " No, I was thinking about what you said, I couldn't imagine my grandfather going to a place like that."

" Babe I told you, your grandfather likes golf. I take him to the Magnolia golf club.

I promise baby ,the vip rooms are not the same. At the Magnolia you get Cuban cigars and French champagne .At the Black Diamond you get head and ass you can have Cuban cigars and French champagne too or a little of both ,depending how much money you have."

" Oh lord Jackson, we're setting at table."She groaned embarrassed by his shameless words.
