Another surprise

Queen Victoria held her hands out to both of the girls to take " Now tell me what makes those two young men so special, to have the two of you smile so much."She ask, with a kind knowing smile.

" Their hot momma ,haven't you noticed?"

Lexi blurted out

"I can see their very handsome, what else makes the two of you smile so beautifully." Queen Victoria questioned them. Her voice floated through the air sounding tender, and warm , filled with love and compassion, as she coaxed the two young girls into talking about their feelings.

"Momma Alex is everything I ever wanted," Lexi gushed dreamy eyed "he's not just good looking he's kind and sweet..." Karmen cut her off " and he spoils her to death Aunt Vicky."

She shifted her gaze towards Karmen, and ask her " And what about you darling, why does that handsome young prince make you smile so sweetly ?"

" Because he's so smart, funny and of course sexy." Karmen blushed and giggled.

Queen Victoria squeezed her hand . "I see something else that the two of you have failed to mention .And you may not even realize it yourselves. Their protective and caring, in the way that both of you need to be cared for."Queen Victoria stated her observation.

"Momma, I'm so glad you and daddy like Alex."

Queen Victoria patted her hand, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. Her heart full of love and joy for her daughter. " Darling I must confess, I was so worried about you the day you left. But your dad assured me that Alex was a good man. And I do believe he's the only man your dad would ever approve of for you."

Karmen sighed worriedly her shoulders dropped slightly " I hope my mom and dad like Jackson, he's a little rough sometimes, but I love him with all my heart and he makes me happy."

" Darling don't you worry about that, your mom and dad know some of the shiniest diamonds start out as rough stones."Queen Victoria reassured her with the most gentle smile.

How philosophical Momma ,and it fits Jackson to a tee."

"Really, how so?"Queen Victoria questioned

"Momma ,Jackson ran around with Ethan before he met Karmen."

Queen Victoria's eyes widened for a second glance over at Karmen "Oh, my darling," she stammered placing her hand on her chest "I had no idea you had a thing for bad boys."

Lexi chuckled, " momma me and Alex call them the odd couple. Karmen's so conservative and Jackson's, so "she paused a moment trying to think of the right words." well he's Jackson . But it seems to work good for them ,she's calmed him down ,and he has brought her out of her shell .There perfect for each other." she laughed shrugging her shoulders.

"I can't tell you girls how grateful I am that we have had this chance to talk with each other. It easies my mind to know both of you are so in love and happy."

" Aunt Vicky, what I was really thinking about is how chilly it gets down there beside the lake at night. Your going to need a jacket."Karmen stated

Queen Victoria chuckled, " I'm sure I will darling, I guess I should go get my jacket now that I'm done packing all the food."

" We should go get one too Lexi." Karmen said ,turning to walk towards the bedroom.

By the time they came back into the great room, Alex and Jackson had returned. Alex had decided to take the four wheelers down to the fire pit because it would be dark tonight when they came back, it would be safer then stepping over all those tree roots at night.

Alex and Jackson grabbed the coolers and loaded them onto the back of the four wheelers, while everyone else followed behind them. Lexi set behind Alex holding onto to his waist he adjusted her arms and reminded her to hold on tightly. Jackson grabbed karmen and made her sit in front of him, he also made her drive.

Queen Victoria's face lit up like a sunny summer day, as she watched the interaction between the two couples. Taking note of how accurate the two girls had described the other ones partner. Alex spoils and pampers Lexi, and Jackson makes Karmen do more adventurous things ,bringing her out of her shell.

When they arrived at the fire pit Alex had another surprise awaiting Lexi. He had a beautiful stone patio laid around the fire pit and also added a cozy dining area.

Her eyes widened " When did you do this, I love it." She babbled wrapping her arms around his neck showering him with kisses.

" Last week Sweetheart, I knew we would be coming back this week with our family."He pointed over towards the edge of the lake where a wooden dock had been added and a fun looking pontoon boat was tied.

The pontoon boat had two decks the lower deck had soft cream colored seats wrapping around it with tables for food and drinks . It also had two chairs in the very back for fishing , with a table setting between them that had cup holders and a built in cooler.

On the upper deck there was a slide and a bar with four soft bar chairs setting around it . Two comfortable built in lounging chairs faced the slide area with a small table between them.

" After I added the stone patio, Jackson had his pontoon brought out and added the dock. We can go out on the pontoon tomorrow."
