Meet my great grandfather

Within a few minutes Harper had returned with Commander Rich walking beside her. She taped on the door .Then stepped to the side leaving Rich to his business. Going back to her duty of monitoring the hallway for anyone who might have snuck underneath the velvet rope . The velvet rope was put in place by Mrs Green because nobody is to see the future Queen in her wedding gown before she presents herself to the public at noon today upon her arrival at the public records office.

After the first knock Alex stepped forward inviting Rich and his great grandfather inside . Still holding the door open, he said "Mrs. Green if you don't mind can you step out into the hall for a moment. I need to speak to commander Rich in private.It will only take a moment then we will be ready to leave."

"Of course, your Majesty."She bowed, Before leaving the room and closing the door behind her. Leaving the head of security and King Evander inside the room with Alex.

"Rich,I would like you to meet my great grandfather King Evander Weston ." Alex grinned, knowing he just blew Rich's mind something he loved to do from time to time.

Rich blinked, glancing over at Alex then back at the young looking man in front of him. He even leaning back to take a better look at the man, before bowing his head and introducing himself. "Your Majesty, I'm Commander Richard Maxwell, it's a great honor to meet you."

" The Pleasure is all mine Commander Richard ,you must be someone very special to Alex "king Evander said sticking his hand out for Rich to shake.

"He is great grandfather," Alex cut into the conversation. "Rich and I have been together forever, he's one of the few people I trust with my life." Immediately turning to speak to Rich. " I guess you can tell my great grandfather isn't a week man." Alex grinned "I need you to set him up with a head set .He has agreed to help us keep an eye on everything while I'm busy getting married." Alex explained the reason for the introduction.

With out question Rich stepped up to the man with an Aura like an atomic bomb pulling a head set from his pocket. He said, "Your Majesty, if you don't mind will you please remove your jacket and pull your shirt from your slacks leaving the three top buttons on your shirt unbuttoned."

Doing as he was told King Evander pulled his jacket off his broad shoulders and unbuttoned his crisp white shirt for Rich to attach a portable radio to his belt and attach the head set discreetly behind his ear. While Rich was helping King Evander Alex and Jackson helped each other.

After the radio's where in place each man tested their microphones to ensure they were working before calling Miss Green back inside the room for Alex to speak to her. "Pam, this is King Evander he's a very good friend of mine and he is going to be part of our security today. He will be riding in the back limousine with Jackson and Karmen. And Rich will be riding in the front limousine in front of the carriage." Alex glanced over at King Evander "I would also like Harper to be sent in the back limousine as a lady in waiting for our Queen and Princess Karmen .

" Your Majesty if you gentleman would step out of the room for a couple of minutes and send Harper inside to change into the dress she brought with her for the wedding we will be ready to leave .

The three gentleman stepped out of the room. Alex looked around for Harper but didn't see her. He raised a his dark brows glancing over towards his great grandfather. " I know you know exactly where she is ,well at least your noes does go get her."

King Evander chuckled " I'll be right back."

After King Evander strolled down the hallway to get Harper. Rich handed Alex two clips for the pistol he had strapped underneath his tuxedo jacket ,as he watched the young looking man leisurely stroll off down the hallway not checking any of the other rooms on the way. It was like the man had a tracking device on the young maid and he was head straight to where she was standing. Reminding him of the old days when he and Alex tracked down the men who were responsible for killing Alex's father out by Crystal Lake.

Seeing King Evander returning with the young girl Rich nodded down the hallway towards the couple asking Alex " So is that where you got that tracking ability from? I always thought all your abilities where from your Eddington Royal blood line."

"They are ,Harper's half witch and he can smell her witch blood." Alex nonchalantly stated

Rich who was pulling the strap on his gun holster tighter to give him a slicker appearance underneath his tuxedo jacket . chuckled " Alex,are you fucking with me?"

"Not at all , Just trust me, that man can do some things that's just unbelievable. Alex said ,as he shook his head. Wondering what Rich would do if his great grandfather disappeared right before his eyes. The thought of it making him chuckled "I will tell you more about him some other time. It will take a while and I need to get married today.

King Evander walked Harper to the door placing a soft gentle kiss on her forehead. With her face turning red she peeped over to see if the three men standing by the entrance had seen the public display of affection.

Seeing her peeping behind him he placed his hand underneath her chin bringing her tender emerald eyes back to his. "Darling don't worry about them like I already told you I don't care if the whole damm would sees me holding and kissing you. I just need to know if you will be mine." He ask, to see her take a deep breath stuttering out her answer.

"I do, bu..." Before she could say anything else he brought his hand up placing his fingers on her lips , not letting her compete her sentence or form any type protest.

" Shush, Now that's settled go put your dress on so that Alex and Lexi can get married."He said ,as he pushed her towards the door leading into the luxurious setting room.
