Battle Trial. (End)

{POV Ryuu.}

I was correct when I said that Eijiro wasn't going to let Hata lay any traps leading up to the core room. The halls were empty, just completely empty, not even a speck of dust. At least finding the closest route to the core was rather easy as Eijiro never moved, while Hanta was moving around every now and then.

Tsuyu and I even found a room that was connected to the room that held the core by an air vent… that's not normal.

I knew Tsuyu couldn't see me smiling underneath my helm but I still smiled as I was currently enjoying the trail. It even helped as it made capturing the core a lot easier, hopefully.

I even offered to lend my shoulders by pointing toward them, pointing up, then making a silent gesture to Tsuyu so she could get a better view of the vent.

Tsuyu nodded her head and very silently hopped off the ground and landed on my shoulders without making a single sound. I was impressed with how well she was able to control her strength to make zero to little sound in the whole process.

Then I was even more impressed when Tsuyu dismounted as I barely felt anything when she hopped off and landed on the ground in a silent mannar. If she was an assassin from my old plane she would have been a terrifying opponent.

Then I heard Tsuyu say something over comms that caught my attention.

"It's a straight path through, but the core is in the opposite wall, Ribbit. I was even able to see the door with them facing it waiting for our arrival." Tsuyu smiled as she finished while I nodded my head in agreement as that was great information. "If you want I can start here and remove the vent cover and I'll wait for your distraction."

"Sounds great, start the moment I enter as I plan to make it a spectacle so it should be easy for you to enter." I said over comms as Tsuyu hopped right back on my shoulders in an absolutely silent manner and was quickly able to get the vent cover off.

"Wait for my distraction, but more importantly be careful and watch out for traps and good luck." I silently spoke over comms to which Tsuyu replied with a ribbit.

I started to loosen my shoulders and body a little when I arrived in front of the room where the core was being held.

How much of my war energy should I use, is two percent enough or is that too little? Well I can't say that as my body is currently only able to handle six percent currently, as the shit is beyond heavy. No, two percent is a little low. I think three is the better option just to be safe.

But if there is one thing that I've learned when using this energy was that I found it to be oddly comforting.

After loosening up my body, I smiled, and kicked the door open with enough force to break them off their hinges, but not enough to make the doors fly off them.

Seeing the surprised and shocked faces of both Eijiro and Hanta was fantastic as I soon struck a pose as I entered and unleashed a technique I called 'War Domain'.

A slightly blood red colored circle started to expand with me as the center then it spread, while it completely covered Eijiro. As it caught Hanta near its edge making them feel as if they were on an ancient battlefield.

"What did you do to us? This isn't manly at all!" Eijiro yelled almost on instinct as his arms seemed to harden… well that's an interesting ability.

I sighed underneath my helm as I knew he would say something, I mean you can do manly things and such. But on the battlefield, stuff like that would get you killed while the victor laughed at your corpse.

But since I'm currently playing the hero I guess I should respond in kind as to keep them distracted from the real goal.

"Oh something rather simple but, why should I tell you villains anything, you both were dumb enough to let me use my ability in the first place." I said in a mocking manner which made Eijiro furious as he pointed his hand in my direction, which only made me smile.

Eijiro wanted to say something, but his expression soon changed when I noticed his breathing was getting a little heavier and he couldn't speak.

I didn't let his distraction go to waste as I used a movement technique that made me disappear into one's blind spot when they were caught off guard or distracted.

I was easily able to take Eijiro off of his feet with a simple hip throw and use the capture tape to eliminate him from the trial. But I also was surprised when Eijiro tried to counter and fight back as he was being thrown.

I was even able to spot Tsuyu during the whole capture as it seemed that she was about to capture the core and end the trial.

"Surrender villain! I have captured your ally, there is no way you'll be able to beat me. Just surrender and make it easy for the both of us," I said in a heroic manner as I got into a free stance with one hand behind my back while the other was in front.

Then I noticed Hanta had suddenly remembered something as he started to look around. I really wanted to sigh, Hanta… at least remember that there were supposed to be two of us.

"Looks like you finally noticed, well it doesn't matter anymore." I spoke in a low manner which caught the attention of Eijiro as he raised his brow in surprise.

Tsuyu had decided to capture the core the moment I finished my sentence as I canceled my war domain. The effect of my war domain technique is called the weight of war. It made one feel as if they were on an ancient battlefield. Making one feel the weight, air, and heaviness around them increase, as if 300 fully armored soldiers stood on their chest. At the current three percent mind you.

It seemed like Eijiro wanted to say something but the moment he tried, All Might's voice spread throughout the building, officially signaling the end of the round and trial. The moment I heard his voice I removed the capturing tape off of Eijiro and spoke aloud.

"You tried attacking me when I threw you, it was a good try. Good job on not giving up though," I said in a friendly manner as Eijiro stood to his feet while he rubbed his wrists. "A little tip for when you're in the field, villains won't care for manliness, always make sure you are paying attention. Plus you're rather strong as it seemed when I used my ability, you struggled slightly and were able to endure rather well."

Eijiro seemed to be stunned as I don't think he expected me to be friendly with him as my act earlier showed otherwise.

"We should try and hang out sometime. See yeah." I said as Tsuyu arrived and was hopping with joy as the smile on her face was wide.

We all quickly left the building and returned to the basement to receive our judgment and as it turned out, the MVP was Tsuyu as she was able to completely capture the core without anybody noticing her until it was too late. Tsuyu just smiled as she seemed to be quite happy and embarrassed at the same time.

I don't recall who went next as I meditated throughout the rest of the trail, but after it was over All Might brought all of us together as it seemed he had something to say. It seemed like he was struggling with something as he was trying to still hide his coughing when he spoke.

"Good work, everyone! Apart from Young Midoriya, there were no big injuries! Still, no holds were barred." I absolutely disagree, as only one person was injured. If anything that means there were holds on those bars.

"For your first full training exercise, you all did wonderfully!" All Might started to turn around as he finished when someone spoke up saying that it was an honest lesson right on the heels of Aizawa… and it was anticlimactic.

"Honest lessons also fall in line with our "freedom" here on campus! Now then, I'm going to share that critique from earlier with Young Midoriya! Go and change back to your uniforms and return to class!!" All Might finished before he just vanished with a cloud of dust that exploded.

The rest of the day went by rather easily, as nothing important happened throughout the rest of the day.

Well if you count Midoriya's arm still being broken then that's about it, which made everyone else want to introduce themselves to him as his trial was the more entertaining one. But that doesn't mean nothing interesting happened the rest of the day.

When the day was finally over Bakugou, Mei and I were finally leaving so we could continue with our after school training, I felt a weak presence coming in our direction and noticed it was Midoriya.

Midoriya had asked that he wanted share something alone with just himself and Bakugou.

I felt like I knew what Midoriya was going to say and didn't bother to listen.

Mei and I accepted as we both just waited for the conversation to end as we stood at a distance. The conversation didn't really take that long, but there were many moments when things got really loud as Bakugou sounded furious as he let his emotions run rampant.

Then it turned even more intresting as fucking All Might decided to show up. How was I able to tell? He shouted out loud: "Bakugou!! My Boy!!"I mean who the hell does that.

Anyway it seemed he tried having a conversation with Bakugou but was cut short when Bakugou had challenged All Might instead. I smiled when Bakugou challenged All Might.

I started to chuckle softly which got the attention of Mei as I just squeezed her hand in a gentle manner before I spoke aloud while looking in her eyes. "Things are going to get interesting soon."

Bakugou arrived rather shortly as it seemed like he was ready to let off some steam as Bakugou seemed to be wreathed in anger. But the look in Bakugou's eyes said otherwise, there was a calm focus, and determination in them.

I was about to ask how he was doing but Bakugou beat me to the punch.

"That icy hot guy, he was very strong, but he seemed to hold back." The tone Bakugou used was rather tame and calm which surprised me as he continued. "Even what that pony tailed bitch said really hit the mark. But what surprised me the most was your quirk, just what was that?" Bakugou asked with a curious tone as I just shook my head and started to head home.

"It seemed like you paid attention and learned from everyone. Continue to do that as I still have many things to learn as well it seems. But as for my ability, sorry that's a family secret." I stopped as I looked over my shoulder back at Bakugou and then to Mei.

"But as compensation, I'll share something that both of you will find rather interesting." If anything Mei won't really care that much, she showed some interest, but Bakugou could collapse from the information, possibly.
