"Finally."
There was a stiff smile on Xen's face. After taking a deep breath, he looked at the screen in front of him.
[Name: Xen]
[Cultivation: Muscles Refining]
[Tokens: 5]
[Skill: Palm Arts, Art Of Slaughter]
{Shop}{Quest!}{Inventory}
Without wasting time, he clicked on the {Shop}.
Just like before a small transparent window opened in front of him. As soon as Xen saw the shop, his eyes narrowed down.
In the shop, instead of one, there were two items.
[Organ Refining Pill: Let's you step into the realm of organ refining.] [Price: 5 Tokens]
[Mind Pill: Increase mental power.] [Price: 1 token]
"This?"
Looking at the newly added Mind pill, Xen was silent for a long time. Closing his eyes, he tried to remember if he ever heard about 'mental power'.
"In the entrance test for the Sword Sect, the guy said my mental power was inferior."
It was less than a week before the entrance test for the Sword Sect was concluded. For Xen, it felt like ages ago.
"Buy it or promote your strength?"
Xen was sure the mental pill would be helpful to him, but he didn't know its benefit yet.
Compared to the pill he knew nothing about, it was better to promote himself first. After all, he was going to travel tomorrow. It would be better to have some strength.
After making up his mind, Xen clicked on the Organ Refining Pill.
{Buy: Yes/No}
After clicking on yes, the icon for the organ refining pill disappeared from the shop.
Opening the inventory with great excitement, Xen used the pill. As soon as he used the pill, great exhaustion overtook him.
"Damn it. Not again."
After getting the familiar feeling of sleep, Xen tried hard to stay awake, but to no avail. Soon he fell into the bed unconscious.
...
While Xen was lying on the bed unconscious, a different scene was being played out in the city of Elora, a different scene was playing out.
"Is everything ready?"
Xen's father was standing in front of his study room arranging the books in an orderly manner.
"Yes, master."
Standing in front of him was the head butler with a grim expression.
"Let's begin it then."
With a smile, he picked up the teacup from the table.
"Master there is a report from Solaris."
"Huh?"
With furrowed brows, he nodded and signaled the butler to continue.
"It is a letter from steward Lu. According to him, the fifth master hasn't shown any interest in the business. He has been living inside his house since the day he reached there. Except for Steward Lu, he hasn't spoken to anyone else."
"Continue."
With a grim face, he motioned him to read further.
"Today he even asked him about the library in another city and is planning to head there alone."
The room was plunged into silence.
"Master?"
Head butler looked at the man in front of him before asking in a soft voice.
"You know, I have never liked him since the day he was born. I didn't even want to marry his mother, much less, bring him into this world."
The old butler didn't speak a single word. He just stood there letting him speak.
"Except disappointment, he hasn't given me anything."
"Sigh."
After taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes for a moment. Looking at the patriarch in deep thoughts, the old butler didn't dare to disturb him.
"All right."
After five minutes, he opened his eyes, looked at the butler, and said in a grim tone.
"Let him do whatever he wants. I have planned something for his future. That is; if he survives till then."
"As for the plan; didn't the people from the sparrow clan want to form an alliance against us, let's give them a taste of what's to come."
"As you wish my lord."
The figure of the old butler disappeared from the room.
"I hope you people can struggle a bit."
In the dimly lit room, a voice that was full of mockery echoed.
...
"Ugh."
Xen didn't know how long he slept. By the time he woke up, the sky was dimly lit.
"Is it evening?"
Walking out of the bed, Xen looked around the room.
"What's this smell?"
Covering his nose with his hands, Xen rushed out of the room.
"What the hell?"
Rushing out of the room helped him get rid of some of the smells, but soon his nose was filled with different kinds of smells.
Looking at his body which was the same as before, Xen furrowed his brows and rushed inside the house to pick a new set of clothes. After grabbing new clothes, he rushed towards the river.
....
"It's still not gone."
Xen could still smell various smells in the air.
"And was the scenery in front of me always this clear?"
Looking in front of him, Xen could see an ant that was fifty meters away from him.
"Is this the realm of organ refining?"
Feeling the changes in his body, Xen moved his gaze towards the screen in front of him.

{Shop}{Quest!}{Inventory}
"Sure enough."
Noticing the changes, Xen walked in front of a tree. After taking a deep breath, Xen bent his knees slightly and took a position to strike the tree.
"Thump."
The moment Xen attacked the tree, his hands blurred and the tree was torn in two.
"Heh."
With a smile, he busied himself familiarising himself with his strength.
....
"I really can't understand how these people think."
Looking at the small letter that he just received from the bird, steward Lu was silent for a long time.
In the letter, there was just a simple sentence.
'Let him do as he pleases.'
After a long train of thought, he stood up and started to pack some supplies.
.....
Xen was sitting on the ground immersed in the beauty of the morning sun. Stepping into the realm of organ refining not only drastically increased his speed and overall performance but also lessened the need for sleep.
Even after practicing all night, he wasn't tired. After getting a better understanding of his strength, Xen stood up and walked towards his house.
Looking at the figure of steward Lu in front of his house, Xen paused for a moment before slowly walking towards him.
"Young master."
"You want anything?"
"Huff."
After spitting out a mouth full of air, Steward Lu looked at him and said in a polite tone.
"Actually, I am here to give you something."
"Huh?"
Looking at the bag that he just pushed in his hands, Xen furrowed his brows.
"This is some supply I prepared for your journey."
Fearing any misunderstanding between them, Steward Lu explained in a hurry.
"Okay. Thank you."
Without speaking any further, Xen took a small cloth bag that he prepared and slowly walked out of the village.
He still had a long journey ahead of him.
