Mr. Greg and Mr. Takanawa

Later this day, Raj got on the area where the party of Sam Greg it is held. He got a job as a personal bodyguard which is something that is happening not as usual as it was one year ago because the rich people have started to hire hackers or qualified mercenaries. And they are more expensive as normal personal bodyguards. But you know, rich folks like to spent countless money for something that looks good and more expensive rather than one small and cheap source of protection.

Raj it is in front of the Warehouse where he got hired. He was about to enter the warehouse, then Raj is stopped by a man who is asking him.

"Name?"

"Raj A." responds Raj. "I am hired as a personal bodyguard by a man named Sam Greg."

"Right this way." says the man letting Raj enters the warehouse and leading him to the private lobby where Sam Greg stays.

The two people are walking to the VIP Lounge, they walk past the dance floor where some "important influencers" and weirdos on drugs are dancing or live stream the event to get money, or at least a few cents to buy air in an expensive American state. They go upstairs on the floors where the VIP Lounge it is, and enter it. The man looks at the people over there, and he tells them.

"Raj A. has come."

"Good." responds a middle-aged man getting up from his seat and looks at the door. "Let him here."

"Okay." says the man letting Raj into this lounge and leaves the room.

The man left the VIP Lounge, letting the people, Greg and Raj do their thing, plus he got some much more significant business as getting people into the warehouse "private" party if they are likeable, influencers to people with no mind and other kinds with looks.

Raj stays at the VIP Lounge, he stays on foot next to Sam Greg, the person that hired him, and he just looks around like a normal bodyguard, not listening to the conversation they are having into the anti-proof room. As Sam stood there and looked around, Sam asks him.

"You know I've called you here with a reason?"

"It isn't to protect you?" asks Raj confused.

"Not exactly, my friend." he looks at the other associates, and he looks at Raj. "We got you here in order to offer you a job. A big job with a big pay cut. I do know what is your job and your "secret" job of yours."

Raj stood there, not knowing what to say. He wonders: "How does this person know about me?". Then, Greg is handing Raj a photo in colour, and he tells him.

"Your father and I were very close friends. How is he doing now?"

"H-He died." says Raj looking at the photo. "He died a few days ago."

"Oh…" he responds feeling sad. "Damn. Too soon for a brilliant man as him in experienced at strength and accuracy."

"Accuracy?"

"Your father never told you his "secret"?" asks Sam with a doubtful look, taking the photo back. "Well. Here is a thing. We used to do… scores. You know what they are, right?"

"Heists?" asks Raj to Sam because he is afraid the other people would hear it.

"Heists. Good response." says Sam to him at the sound the other people from the lounge would hear it. "We are doing heists, and this one will be our last." he looks at the other associates over there. "And this one, we will be dedicating to the poor soul of Gopal. Our trustworthy gunner and an excellent friend of ours. And you are in, kid?"

"Um. I don't know about that."

"You gotta do it, man." says the other associates to Raj, one with a Japanese accent. "Think about it as a way to honour your father legacy."

"Your Pa, always wanted to do this score." says another associate with an Islamic accent. "He has done so much for us and making us grow stronger. And powerful."

"You people? Are rich?"

"Billionaires, kid." says Sam. "But your father, he always agreed to get small pay cuts like hundreds or thousands. the biggest he always proposed was at the begging of our tremendous adventure, which was only 450 000 dollars."

"450 000 dollars?" asks Raj surprised. "What was the heist? Louvre?"

"No. We stole servers from Facebook company, Meta, or whatever people are calling it now. We stole servers worth nine to twelve million dollars, I think." he looks at one of his associates, the Japanese looking one, which only shook his head in approval. "Yes. That man always wanted to do heists, but he always wanted to quit them and spend a normal life."

"And he did?" asks Raj interested.

"Most likely. Our last heist was almost a decade ago. Time when we decided to use our money to invest into companies, stocks, cryptocurrencies and everything. Hell, we even spent on NFT's, and we almost lose all our money… Kid. This heist it is special for your father. You help us pull it off, you will be making him proud wherever he is now."

"What is this score?"

"Is Ruby Island Bank." says Sam with a grin. "The most secured and guarded bank from the three artificial island. A source of mine told me they have there a lot of cash all around there from a thousand of people. We are talking here about millions or billions. We pull this heist off good, we will be able to live our rest of life anywhere in the world and even buy our own islands. So. Are you in, boy?"

Raj thinks of the choices he has. If he is going to be into this heist, he might be risking to become a wanted criminal and be arrested. But if it does not accept, he will be risking to be tortured or has mercenaries and assassins on him since these people are wealthy and all. But, a voice from him told him: "Do it.". And Raj, he looked at Sam, sits on the next chair, and he speaks to them at the table.

"I am in. As a sniper."

"Are you good at guns?" asks the Iranian guy.

"Yes." says Raj to the people.

"Yes, it is." responds Sam to the guy. "He is an amazing sniper, not like his father on the submachine and assault guns."

"You got the good information about me." responds Raj impressed to Sam. "And… When it will be?"

"After a few days, we have to do some setups first. And perhaps, you would be able to give us a hand here."

"I will. But what will be the pay cut if I work for you." asks Raj to Sam, who is taking a glass of wine.

"About 850 000 $." responds Sam to Raj.

Raj was almost dropping his jaw when he heard the amount of money he would get for doing this job. This would be an amazing job for him. With that amount of money, he will be able to stay out from this business for good, but he has to be careful at this job because it is illegal, he got a friend hacker who works for the justice, plus he doesn't trust fully these guys, but he has to go with the flow. After all, it is too late now to say no to this offer.

"Deal." says Raj to these people.

Sam serves him another glass of wine. And with a grin on his face as Raj took the glass and drank it, he tells him.

"Welcome to our gang, kiddo."
