Operation Mr. K - Part 2

A while later, in Ruby City, on the parking lot of the beach where Raj has visited almost a month ago on the beginning of this chapter, the red car is on the parking lot. Three men's are outside the car, leaning on it and waiting for the man to arrive at this location. The three men are obviously Raj, Ramirez and Lenard.

Lenard is lighting a cigarette by using the lighter Ramirez has passed him. Even if Ramirez doesn't smoke, he is carrying a lighter for cases like these, when someone he knows and is heavy smoker needs a lighter. Raj is looking at the beach, at the ocean waves and he is wondering about something.

"What's on your mind?" asks Ramirez to Raj, who looked at the ocean for a while.

"I am thinking." says Raj after he sighed. "About what Mr. Greg has done to my family."

"He did a lot of bad things to you?" asks Lenard, wanting to join this conversation.

"Yeah."

"He also made my life miserable. He and one of his workers has put me in Sapphire Island Prison. It was tough for me and Ramirez. But, this helped us both get into the Agency and become good agents for the agency for two years."

"Aha." says Raj, and he looks at Ramirez. "How long would it take?"

"He told us he will come here in an about an hour."

"An hour has almost passed by now." replies Lenard looking at his watch who is showing the timer 19:23.

After five more minutes of silence, a car comes into this parking lot. The car is a Mitsubishi type car. Colour grey. A colour normalized nowadays because of celebrities or by the general population. The car is parking on the empty car parking slot. As the person was about to leave the car, Lenard is walking to that person, leaving Ramirez and Raj to stand there.

"Good evening!" says the person from the car to Lenard, he hands his hand to Lenard. "My name is Timmy Ram, sign language teacher."

"Lenard. Private Investigator from "Agency C.R." (it's popular known as Agency C.R. by the public, they are normally calling themselves Agency). And those from the car." he points to the two who are looking over at them, from a distance of five meters. "Are my associates."

This makes the person known as assign language teacher feel a little nervous about all of this.

"W-What?"

"Look. We are not going to hurt you, pal." says Lenard calm. "We need some information about a person, who you've trained in sign language a while ago."

"I-I trained a few people." says the man. "I can tell you, a lot of the people were innocent and didn't looked like a bad guy."

"About a guy from Ukraine?"

"…Are you talking about K?"

"Yes. About him." says Lenard. "Now. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. So, what would it be?"

The man sighs, and he tells him.

"I only teach that man two sessions. Then, he never showed up again to the weekly meetings. But, I do have a file of him at my car. One that states his personal information and everything."

"We'll take it." says Lenard looking in the eyes of the man, managing to intimidate him. "Give it to us."

"B-B-But is restricted… It's person-"

Lenard hands the man three hundred dollars on his hand. And the man, turns around, opens the back-passenger door, and he takes from there a big folder. He looks on it for a while, then he takes out from there a file that states the information of Mr. K. It also presents a picture of him on the file with his face. He hands the file to Lenard and he tells him, sounding scared by this moment he has done.

"Do not tell him I gave this to you."

"Do not worry." responds Lenard to the man. "We will not tell him about this. And you better not tell anyone about this. Or else."

"I understand!" says the sign language teacher putting the folder back on the car. "I will not tell anyone. My mouth is zipped."

The sign language enters his car, he gets on the driver seat, and leaves this place on his Mitsubishi type car, letting the three men look on the file and search vital information of Mr. K.

"That man is a wuss." says Lenard to Ramirez and to Raj, showing them the file, he just took from the man at the price of three hundred dollars.

"At least we pulled it off peacefully." says Raj looking at the file, and he reads the information of the address of Mr. K., he looks shocked. "No way. The man lived in the same block I live."

"And you never saw him there?"

"No." responds Raj. "There says to be living on the last floor. And I never went there. That floor is known to be the place of the shut-in people type."

"Guess we will pay a visit to your house." says Lenard going on the driver seat, then Ramirez goes on the front seat, and Raj takes the back seat.

Ramirez turns on the engine of the car. He turns on the radio, that plays a trash song, then he changes to another radio station who is playing a less shitty song radios would play for a hundred times on a day in order to remain relevant to young generation. The car leaves the parking lot and heads back to Garnet Island, the apartment where Raj hasn't visited in a while.
