Father's Bias

The white dress was personally made by Jocelyn in her studio. It was extremely beautiful, paired with simple pearls that made it look elegant. However, when Jocelyn opened the closet today, she could not find any trace of the dress.

What should she do?

Jocelyn was so anxious that she was like an ant on a hot pan. She searched everywhere in the house but could not find the dress that she had made.

"Dress? Did you look everywhere?" Mr. Wilson looked up and said nonchalantly.

This daughter was from his ex-wife, and she was as unlikeable as her mother. She was straightforward, so he had never taken this daughter seriously.

"What's wrong? Can't you find the dress for the banquet? How about I give you a dress that Maria usually wears? We're about to leave for the banquet. You don't mind, do you?"

Mrs. Wilson spoke in a seemingly worried manner, her eyes filled with schadenfreude.

Seeing the situation, Jocelyn became even more anxious.
