Shouldn't I Slap You?

Lilian's scream was like a rope that pulled Jocelyn back to reality.

"Why can't I hit you?" Jocelyn calmly asked, hiding her numb palm behind her back, her heart pounding.

"My name is Jocelyn Wilson. This is my home. As a servant, you screamed at me. Not only did you not apologize, but you even threatened me. Shouldn't I hit you?"

As she spoke, Jocelyn could hear her heart beating fast.

The palm that was hidden behind her back slowly turned into a fist, as if it was cheering her on.

I did it! Jocelyn thought to herself.

Lilian had never seen Jocelyn act so intimidatingly. In the past, Jocelyn was like a rabbit that everyone could step on.

But now, Jocelyn was like a small leopard. Although she still looked furry, she had sharp claws and fangs.
