Don't Move, Be Good

The elevator quickly arrived at the floor where Aren was staying.

Aren was not used to having too many people around him. After sending Luke away, there were only two bodyguards left on the floor.

With Jocelyn in his arms, Aren walked past the two bodyguards without looking at them. "No matter what happens later, don't let anyone enter the room," Aren ordered.

Almost instantly, Jocelyn understood what Aren meant.

She struggled in Aren's arms again. "Be good, don't move!" Aren instructed.

Aren gasped, not sure if it was because of the pain in his back or because of the discomfort in his lower body.

"Put me down. I don't want to enter the room with you." The feeling that her entire body was being controlled made Jocelyn feel very insecure.

At this moment, Aren was like a lion in Jocelyn's eyes, and she was like a rabbit by the lion's mouth.
