There was a mystery surrounding the death of the original owner's only brother, who was also a sub-beast like him. The novel mentioned his brother's death due to severe injuries, but it never explained how those injuries happened. Additionally, it was suggested that the original owner had a paranoid personality.

Feng Li couldn't help but frown as he read the plot summary again. According to the story, the original owner became insane and acted like a tyrant, which was in stark contrast to the memories he had. This discrepancy bothered him, especially considering his second task. However, he decided not to dwell on it too much. Most people in this world seemed innocent and didn't appear to have malicious intentions or schemes. They were generally straightforward and kind to each other.

Feng Li acknowledged the information with a nod and expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for informing me. You may take your leave now."

With a respectful bow, the individual departed, leaving Feng Li to wander through the lush forest. Every step he took unveiled a new facet of the breathtaking scenery. The air was pure and invigorating, infusing him with vitality. Sunlight bathed his skin, providing a comforting warmth. As he ventured further, the snake sub-beasts and beasts greeted him with respectful bows. Feng Li acknowledged their salutations with a nod and pressed on. Along his path, he couldn't help but notice several beast and sub-beast couples, a sight that brought thoughts of Yu Xin flooding back. His yearning to see him grew stronger with every step, although he remained uncertain if their paths would cross. Hope was his sole companion.

During the trek, they engaged in friendly conversations, exploring a range of subjects and relishing one another's camaraderie.
