Feng Li and Yu Xin went to Huo Yun's place, to talk about the intruder.

Huo Yun was shocked when they told him the whole story.

On hearing everything, Huo Yun looked toward Yu Xin who was looking quite nervous. Huo Yun understood something, he looked at Feng Li and said, "Feng Li, You would not be able to do anything right now. In this small world, you can't fight him. I'll take care of it."

Feng Li, "But, Who is he? Why does he want to hurt Yu Xin?"

"It can be confirmed that he is from Demon Clan. But, I don't know which one.", Huo Yun replied sadly.

"Demon clan?", Feng Li asked frowning.

Huo Yun nodded solemnly, "Yes. He belongs to the demon clan. And judging by his power, I can say that he must be someone important in the demon clan."

Feng Li clenched his jaw tightly.

"How can you be so sure about that?", Feng Li questioned skeptically.

Huo Yun sighed softly, "Because only someone who has a higher position in the demon clan can use such powerful hypnosis techniques."

Feng Li narrowed his eyes suspiciously, "Why are you saying all this now?"

"You know how strong I am, but even I couldn't do anything against him. So, there's no point trying to fight him.", Huo Yun explained calmly.

"But, what about Yu Xin? Is he safe?", Feng Li asked anxiously.

Huo Yun smiled reassuringly, "Don't worry, he should be fine for now. Besides, I have cast some spells to protect him. As long as he stays near me, nothing bad will happen to him."

"But, that doesn't make sense.", Feng Li argued stubbornly.

"What do you mean?", Huo Yun inquired curiously.

Feng Li furrowed his brows thoughtfully, "If the person who attacked Yu Xin earlier is really from the demon clan, then why would he go after him specifically? Wouldn't he rather try to harm me instead?"

Huo Yun shook his head firmly, "No, that won't work. Because, if you die, Yu Xin will also die along with you. So, he must've targeted him because he knew it would hurt you the most."

Feng Li clenched his fists angrily.

He gritted his teeth and growled menacingly, "Damn it! Why did it have to happen again?!"

Huo Yun sighed heavily, "Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it."

Feng Li cursed loudly under his breath before standing up abruptly.

"Fine, whatever. I don't care anymore.", he muttered irritably.

He turned toward Yu Xin, saying, "Let's just go home."

Yu Xin nodded obediently and followed Feng Li out of Huo Yun's house.

Huo Yun stopped him for a moment, saying, "Feng Li, I would like to ask Yu Xin questions alone, could you leave us for five minutes?"

Feng Li nodded silently, "Okay."

Then, he exited the room.

Huo Yun looked at Yu Xin and asked sternly, "Yu Xin, What happened at that time?"

Yu Xin bit his bottom lip nervously.

"I... I don't know. Everything was normal until suddenly someone entered the cave. It happened so fast that I couldn't react.", Yu Xin explained hesitantly.

Huo Yun sighed heavily, "Alright, I understand."

"So, You should remember everything about past lives, right?", Huo Yun questioned carefully.

Yu Xin shook his head, "No, not completely…I just remember some fragments."

"Alright, I only hope you do not hurt yourself and Feng Li again. I don't want him to suffer anymore.", Huo Yun pleaded sadly.

Yu Xin stared at Huo Yun blankly, "What do you mean? I…didn't do anything wrong…in the past right..."

Huo Yun smiled bitterly, "Yes, you did. Do you think you could forget about all those years of suffering? Don't make me laugh...Even though you'll want to mend it…but not everything can be mended…"

Yu Xin frowned deeply, "But…I…I don't…I don't know…what to do right now…Did I hurt Feng Li in the past? Maybe it's just all imagination…"

"No, it's not. You're just confused right now.", Huo Yun stated calmly.

Yu Xin shook his head firmly, "I would never want to hurt Feng Li."

He continued after a pause, "I'd rather kill myself than hurt him."

Huo Yun sighed heavily, "Whatever you say. Don't just say you'll kill yourself, otherwise, Feng Li would kill me. So if I'm right, your memories are not intact. That's why you don't remember things."

Yu Xin furrowed his brows worriedly, "Really?"

"Yes. But, I can't tell you what exactly happened because that might affect your current life as well. Feng Li might forgive you but I don't know If you'll forgive yourself. So, it's better to keep it a secret.", Huo Yun said solemnly.

"However, If you want to know the truth, you should try remembering everything. Once you get back your memory, everything will become clear to you. Make a decision, when you are ready, come to me.", Huo Yun added firmly.

Yu Xin bit his lower lip anxiously. He wasn't sure whether he should believe Huo Yun or not. But, since it sounded reasonable enough, he decided to give it a chance.

"Fine...I need some time to think about it.", Yu Xin agreed reluctantly.

Huo Yun smiled faintly, "Good luck then."

Afterward, Yu Xin left and went outside to meet Feng Li.

They walked side-by-side silently.

Finally, Feng Li spoke first, "What did he ask you?"

Yu Xin hesitated briefly before replying honestly, "He asked me if I want to remember my past lives. And, I promised him that I'll think about it."

Feng Li frowned deeply, "Why is it needed?"

Yu Xin shrugged helplessly, "I have no idea."

"Anyway, let's forget about that for now. Let's go home.", Feng Li suggested tiredly.

Yu Xin nodded weakly, "Okay..."

The two of them returned to their cave and sat down on the bed together.

Feng Li gazed at Yu Xin worriedly, "Are you feeling alright?"

Yu Xin smiled weakly, "Yeah... I'm fine."

"Is there anything bothering you?", Feng Li inquired softly.

Yu Xin shook his head quickly, "No, nothing."

"Okay, if you need anything, just ask me.", Feng Li offered kindly.

Yu Xin nodded gratefully, "Thanks."

Then, Feng Li stood up and went outside.

He stood near the entrance of the cave and stared at the sky above him.

It was dark already and the moon shone brightly.

Suddenly, he sensed someone approaching him.

He turned around and saw Yu Xin standing behind him.

"Hey, What are you doing here? Go back inside.", Feng Li scolded lightly.

Yu Xin smiled shyly, "Sorry, I just wanted to spend some time alone with you."

Feng Li chuckled fondly, "Alright then. Come here."

Yu Xin walked closer to Feng Li and hugged him tightly.

Feng Li wrapped his arms around Yu Xin's waist and pulled him against his chest.

"Let's stay like this forever.", Yu Xin mumbled dreamily.

Feng Li chuckled, "Sure."

He kissed Yu Xin gently. But soon, he became a little serious and he wanted to talk to Yu Xin about what happened today.

Feng Li looked at Yu Xin seriously, "Let's get serious…I asked you to stay in the cave, why did you go out?"

He was a little angry at Yu Xin but also helpless. He believed that person followed Yu Xin back. He was angry at Yu Xin for putting himself in danger, not that Yu Xin didn't follow his words and went out all alone. He wanted Yu Xin to feel free, and not that he was being kept in a cage. But, he should have at least waited for him to come back.

Yu Xin saw Feng Li being angry at him, and he felt sorry for making Feng Li scared. He looked guilty, and he lowered his head, saying, "I'm sorry…I felt dirty and I wanted to take a bath."

Yu Xin felt wronged, but he knew was wrong to go out alone without informing Feng Li. His eyes turned red, but he didn't say anything anymore and pursed his lips.

Feng Li saw Yu Xin's teary eyes, his heart was stuck by a needle, he lifted Yu Xin's face and coaxed, "Dont cry…don't cry. Just inform me once before you go out next time. Okay?"

Yu Xin felt like crying even more. Everything that was happening around him was making him scared. He didn't want to cry and face everything bravely but facing Feng Li, he just couldn't hold back his emotions.

Feng Li saw him crying even more, he sighed and embraced him. He tried consoling Yu Xin but instead of calming down, Yu Xin cried even more.

Feng Li was terror-stricken, thinking he made Yu Xin. He even wanted to jump down a cliff. Before, he said a word.

Yu Xin whispered in tears, "I'm scared…scared of what's happening."

Even though, He said in a hushed voice, Feng Li still heard everything loud and clear. Feng Li just kissed Yu Xin's forehead, then said, "Don't be scared. I'll take care of everything. Just give me a hint and I'll destroy everything that you're scared of. Just believe in me."

Yu Xin hugged him tightly, not wanting to leave his arms even for a second.

Feng Li hugged him horizontally and took him inside the cave.

Yu Xin's face was in Feng Li's neck.

Feng Li sat down on the bed with Yu Xin in his arms, still hugging him. Feng Li asked, "Hungry?"

Yu Xin shook his face and didn't get up from Feng Li's lap.

After a while, when Yu Xin calmed down, he raised his eyes to look at Feng Li. Feng Li didn't remove his hands from Yu Xin's waist. He asked softly, "Baby, are you feeling okay?"

Yu Xin nodded, and said lightly, "Sorry."

Feng Li smiled while saying, "No need to say sorry. Just tell me when you feel overwhelmed by anything. I am here, whenever you need me."

Yu Xin embraced him, saying, "I want to sleep."

"Let's go to sleep.", Feng Li laid him down on the bed.

They stayed embraced for quite some time.

Until they both fell asleep.
