Annoyed

Part 15.

By nightfall, we were already gathered in the dining room. Moments like this, are increasingly difficult to do because of the busyness of Brother Rey and Sis Mona which requires them to go home almost sunset.

Meanwhile, Papa often went out of town on assignments to take care of the property company's branch. When it comes to autographs, Papa must come directly. Meanwhile, Brother Rey was only carrying out his duties, not signing a work agreement.

Mother has reminded Papa not to go out of town on duty again. But Brother Rey doesn't really understand the intricacies of the company there. Still need guidance until later Bang Rey can be independent.

Sis Mona's position is also important in the city office. Papa gave an important position, namely auditing financial data. It's the most important part of the company. I often overheard their conversation at dinner.

It feels so challenged to participate in doing tasks like them. My intention after graduation was to open a boutique like Mother, so I switched to working in a company. Like my two brothers.

I listened to their conversation, while enjoying a warm dinner. Since childhood, Papa and Mother have used to get us together at the dinner table. Even if it's only for a short time, it's all useful for building communication one and the other.

"What about your studies, Za? When do you write your thesis?" asked Papa.

"Next month KKN will start, Pa," I said.

"Oh, it means that in about three months, you can write your thesis," said Ms. Mona.

"God willing, Sis! If everything goes well,"

I said excitedly.

"Did you get the KKN place?" Mother asked. "Hm, actually I have, but Za wants to go to Papa's friend's office. Do you think it's possible, Pa?" I asked hopefully.

"Wow, since when did you become interested in studying in an office or company?" asked Bang Rey, starting to get confused.

"Hm, since you guys often discuss company problems, at dinner. Za is so interested and wants to learn to be a business woman," I answered firmly.

"Later, Papa will ask Wendy, in her office have you ever received KKN children or not!"

"What?" Papa's words succeeded in making me choke, the rice in my mouth spilled out.

"Why, why are you surprised?!" asked Papa in surprise.

"Oh-sorry, Pa! Za was out of focus, so choking," I lied.

It feels like my heart screams with joy, when Papa mentions the name of the boy I'm targeting. He didn't know that this afternoon I saw them in a car.

After dinner, Papa and Bang Rey moved to sit in the living room. Meanwhile, my mother and sister Mona prefer to sit on the terrace of the house and breathe fresh air. While they were busy discussing KKN, they heard the sound of a car stopping in front of the fence. I poked my head out to see who was out there.

Eeh, it turned out to be the sound of the neighboring boy's car who just got home from work. But I wonder, if you work in an office, why do you often come home at night like this. While Papa and two of my sisters came home late in the afternoon before sunset.

"Mother... why does our neighbor come home from work this evening?" I asked surprised.

"Idiih, since when did you pay attention to our neighbor," sneered Sis Mona.

"He's still single, maybe coming home from work taking care of other things. Or hanging out with his professional friends," explained Mother.

"I do too," I said.

"Besides, if you come home early, what are you going to do at home alone," protested Sis Mona.

"Her sister is at home, that means she's not alone, right!" I said.

"How do you know so much about our neighbors? that, Za?!" Sis Mona started to get confused.

"Ahhh, it just so happens that Za often sees them when they're sitting on this terrace," I explained.

"Coincidence or purposely pointing our neighbors!" joked Sis Mona.

"Haa-haa, just want to know," I said shyly.

"Papa said that Wendy is a legal advisor in our company. And has an office in the property sector, so they are jointly developing the business." Mother explained at length.

"Wow, that's great, Bund! You're handsome, a lawyer is also the CEO," said Ms. Mona.

"That's right, Sis. That's a really ideal guy,"

I said slowly.

"You don't want to compete? Who knows how to get the love of a handsome CEO?!"

"Is the CEO single, right, Bund?" asked Sis Mona curiously.

"Papa said, the CEO just broke up with his girlfriend, aka single," said Mother.

I was immediately excited to hear Mother's words. Especially if you want to do an internship at the company. Now his office has never accepted KKN students or not, as Papa said earlier.

******

Soon Papa and Brother Rey came out of the living room and joined us on the terrace. Incidentally, I want to ask Papa something.

"Pah ... have you told our neighbors that Za wants to do an internship at his office?" I asked.

"Idiih, just talked about, immediately wanted to know the answer!" protested Sis Mona.

"Anyway, our neighbor, just got home from work. Haven't had a break yet, it's impossible to talk about this problem on the phone," said Mother.

"How should I do it, Bund?" I asked.

"Later Papa invites dinner to our house!" Papa said

"When?" Mother asked.

"Maybe tomorrow or the day after that! You told Mbok Asih, more cooking for our guests!"

Mona and I smiled meaningfully when we heard Papa's suggestion. Looks like Sis Mona is curious about my target guy. If the guy was invited, he would definitely invite his sister to come here too. It's okay to wash your eyes, they are both handsome, I thought.

I'm more attracted to my brother than my sister. If the sister looks more mature, cool and authoritative. If her sister still looks unstable, her style is always sloppy.

"Why daydreaming, Za?" asked Papa.

"It's okay, just thinking about the apprentice, Pa," I reasoned.

"Don't worry, don't worry, let Papa take care of that! Just study hard!"

I'm relieved to hear Papa's words, I don't have to worry anymore about a place for an internship. So I just have to wait for the guy to come to the house and get acquainted with him.

"Za... do you think Brother is not compatible with the neighbor boy?" asked Sis Mona.

Hearing Sis Mona's words, my heart was like being electrocuted, my ears immediately felt hot. My face turned irritated and my lips pouted. Seeing this change, Mother immediately changed the subject.

"Let's go in, let's go! The night wind is starting to blow hard, it looks like it's about to rain!" take Mother.

It's useless Mother talking like that, my anger can't be hidden. Meanwhile, Sis Mona, who doesn't know what's in my heart, is still relaxed without paying attention to anything.
