Last day of internship

Part 29.

Today is the last day of my internship at Mr.Wendy's office, I have prepared all reports for her to sign. But I don't know if the CEO entered the office or not. The tasks that Miss Silfi gave were only a few, not as usual. Maybe I have shared the task with Arini, I thought.

It was almost twelve o'clock in the afternoon, Sister Wendy had not yet come to the office. I got worried, usually I have to come, after that I just go to the field to meet clients.

["Arini... Bro Wendi hasn't come yet, huh?"] I asked via text message.

["Not yet, Za!"] she answered.

["Today we last worked here, so all report files must be completed and brought to campus!"] I explained.

["Yes, let's just wait until noon, maybe the CEO has business outside the office,"] Arini replied.

Until after recess, the CEO had not been seen. Hm, I'm the laziest to come back here, meet the assistant again. Not necessarily also the CEO is in the office.

I ventured to call the boss CEO. Even though I'm reluctant, it's okay for my business finish quickly.

The CEO's phone ring, but he didn't respon. I called three times but no response. I just remembered someone saved Indra's number, the CEO's younger brother.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Indra," I greeted.

"Wa'alaikum, Za, you don't usually call me. Miss you, huh?" asked Indra.

"Hm, you're being self-conscious!" I mocked.

"Why hasn't Brother Wendy come to the office yet? Do you know where he is? Because there is a file that must be signed!" I explained so that Indra would not miss understand.

"When I went to school, he was still sleeping, Za!"

"Hah? Is he still sleeping now?" I asked

"How do I know, try calling again!" said Indra. After saying thank you, I ended the call on the phone.

I tried again to call the CEO's cell phone, and it worked. There was a deep breath on the other end of the phone.

"Hello, Zaa," said the voice.

"Hello, Bro Wendy didn't come to the office today, huh?"

"What time is it, Za?"

"It's two in the afternoon!" I answered.

"Hahh... sorry, Za! I overslept! It was almost dawn before I could sleep?" he explained.

"Oh my God, Bro! Why is it like that?" I asked surprised.

"Because thinking about you, Za!" he answered in a deep voice.

"Aihh, don't accuse carelessly, Bro!" remember me.

"Alright, I'll take a shower first! Wait in the office, okay!" The CEO immediately hung up the phone

I didn't expect Brother Wendy to talk like that. Don't even believe the reason. Because among office friends, the CEO was given the nickname as a playboy.

["Zaa, have you heard from the CEO?"] asked Arini via text message.

["The CEO fell asleep, luckily woke up because his phone ring,"] I answered.

["Oh my God, it must be because you stayed up late, right?"] Arini guessed.

["I don't know, I don't know,"] I replied.

While waiting for the CEO to come to the office, I prepared all the tasks given by Miss Silfi. Until now, the assistant CEO didn't dare to mess with me anymore. After he found out that this CEO was my father's adopted son.

The stakes are fired, if he dares to invite me to compete for the CEO's love. After all, the assistant wasn't his type of woman.

While focusing on work, suddenly the office door opened without knocking, a woman came in and was surprised to see I was in the CEO's office.

"Hey, who are you?" she asked.

"I'm Mr. Wendy's assistant!" I replied casually.

"Don't lie to you, there's only one assistant here, downstairs!" she protested.

"Whatever!" I answered without looking at his face

"Why don't you have any manners, huh?!" snapped Melly, the CEO's ex-lover.

"You enter without knocking on the door, then talk while shouting, is that polite?!"

"Ugh, what a strange woman!" said Melly, slamming the door.

"Hm, more women waiting in line to catch up love CEO, I said in my heart.

I glanced at the watch on my hand, it was already two o'clock in the afternoon. But the CEO hasn't arrived at the office yet. I saw his social media was active an hour ago. It's really cool to have your own office, anytime you can come to the office, I thought.

At four in the afternoon, the CEO arrived at the office. Exactly an hour before this office closes. Only me and Arini know why CEO coming late like this. He immediately went upstairs to meet me.

Tokk... tokk.

I was surprised to hear a knock on the door, before long the CEO's body appeared from behind the door wearing a shirt and jeans.

I can't believe how casual and relaxed she looks like. Usually always wear a suit like a lawyer in general.

"Good Afternoon, Za, where are the files I have to sign?!" asked the CEO.

Without answering because I was still amazed by his appearance, I handed the stack of files to the CEO.

"Wow... you're angry, aren't you? Why are there so many files?" CEO protest.

"Sorry, Bro! Some of the files are not internship reports, but files for this office!" I explained.

"Oh-I see," he said, focusing on reading and signing.

I looked at the face of the CEO sitting on the

behind the desk. This face is always remembered when I was alone in the room. I always wait for his presence in dreams or reality.

However, I realized that the CEO status is the son of Papa's ex-lover. Do you agree, I'm in love with him. Well, this is a big question for my next relationship.

"Here, it's done!" The CEO's voice interrupted my thoughts.

He put the pile of files back on my desk. After separating the files, I went downstairs to hand it over to Miss Silfi.

"Hey, since when has Mr. Wendy been in the office? Why didn't I see him come in?" asked Miss Silfi in surprise.

"Mr. Wendy came an hour ago and entered through the door!" I replied casually.

"Hm..." Miss Silfi pursed her lips.

"Zaa... really, Mr. Wendy is in his room?" whispered Arini.

"That's right... so you think I'm the sign handle this file!" I said, pointing at the pile of papers on the assistant it desk.
