Back to the 21st century:
"I have made up my mind. I getting a form for the debating club. Classes are going to start tomorrow after they select us by the interview which is in fifteen minutes," Sarah said running towards the teacher who was receiving filled-up debate club forms.
Maya stood there shaking her head. She wasn't interested in debate club and decided to fill in the form for the science club instead.
"Sir, I asked the teacher who was selling forms if I could submit the form tomorrow or not. He said that today is the last date and the interview is shifted to fifteen minutes later. Can I submit the form without my guardian's signature?"
Even though most of them were already adults, they still needed their parent's permission for doing any activities at school.
"Why don't you just copy your guardian's signature?"
"I don't know how to."
"Just write their name and submit it."
"But isn't it against the rules of the school?"
