"By the way, why are you both always at the entrance? Are you guys the guards or something?" She asked the squirrels.
"As if they both can understand human language. Don't be so stupid-" Alexander's eyes widened when he saw the squirrels shake their heads.
"They both turned out to be multi-talented. Even me, a human can't understand what other humans say sometimes," he thought while mentally clapping his hands for the squirrels.
"Oh, so you guys aren't the forest guards," Alora's smirk widened when they nodded their heads in the affirmative.
"Seems like they both can understand human language better than you," Ereza sarcastically said while looking at Alexander.
Alexander couldn't bother himself with their smirk or sarcastic remark as he was too amazed by the squirrels.
They looked a lot more interesting to him than before.
Yet he couldn't stop himself from remembering a memory from the past.
