The List (I)

There was a heavy downpour.

On the boulevard in the city center, Chen Yiming walked forward, stepping on small puddles from time to time, splashing the water around.

Large raindrops fell through the gaps between the leaves and landed on his body. He did not dare to use his internal force to repel them, so he was completely drenched.

It was still during working hours, and there were a large number of pedestrians on the road. Almost everyone was holding an umbrella.

Chen Yiming's drenched appearance caused many people to turn around and glance at him before they continued on their way. None of them stopped.

"Did something big happen in East Lake City again?" Chen Yiming muttered. He could tell from the expressions of the passers-by that there was a sense of urgency in the air.

The most important thing for ordinary people out and about at this time was their work. If they were in a hurry, it meant that they did not dare to be late.
