"Several hundred planes and tanks?"
Upon hearing this, Sartre nearly dropped dead on the spot.
Has anyone ever heard of buying these things by the hundreds? This is actual military equipment, not damn models!
In this place, trades of this kind of military equipment occur almost daily, and dealings in war machines like planes and tanks also happen frequently, but a single deal usually involves just one or two fighters, or a tank or two at most.
Even compared to the arms races between countries, the scale of these transactions is trivial. But even when they purchase military hardware, buying a dozen or so planes and tanks in one go would be the limit, right?
Even for a superpower like America, the reported increase in main battle tanks last year was just over one hundred, and the cost of a fighter jet is much higher than that of a tank. Adding a few dozen planes a year is already quite alarming.
