Bait

As Draco fell towards the bubbling red waters below, he cursed at the man above him.

Draco was unable to stop his descent, and he couldn't help but feel enraged.

After all, Draco had just been ambushed in the same way he had ambushed the white haired lady!

As Draco's body made contact with the sea the first thing he felt was a warm heat that encompassed his body.

However, the liquid was thick and felt absolutely disgusting on his skin.

It felt like Draco had suddenly been submerged in a foul pudding, and it took all of his effort to not choke on it.

When Draco opened his eyes to see, they stung with pain.

'Yep, the pit is definitely filled with blood. I don't know what I was expecting.' he thought, convinced this was the most disgusting thing he had ever been through.

Strangely enough, only his left eye was able to see further than a foot in front of him.

His left eye seemed to possess sight that could cut through the blood for at least a dozen feet in front of him.

The blood sea had violent waters that threw Draco about, and his ability to see saved him from crashing into a pillar that stood just ahead of him.

Draco twisted out of the way, turning to jump off of the pillar like a springboard.

In this way Draco launched himself forwards, but unfortunately the blood was too thick for him to gain much distance.

Slowing to a stop, Draco realized that he was running out of air. He also knew that he had to get away from the area so he could safely surface without getting attacked.

He took a moment to look around, and what he saw sent shivers down his spine.

All along the sea floor were numerous skeletons. These skeletons ranged from humanoid to monstrous in form, but were all similar in their bone-white appearance.

'I'll probably end up like them if I stay down here any longer.' Draco concluded, feeling his limbs begin to burn. The once uncomfortable warmth was now becoming a burning heat that threatened to engulf him.

All of his skin sizzled and began to turn an unhealthy red color.

This was not to mention that his destroyed right hand was also now throbbing unbearably.

Right now, Draco's biggest fear was not even losing his hand, but catching some disease from the bloody sea!

Draco quickly made up his mind and decided to swim in a direction crowded with pillars. He figured that the pillars could provide cover that would block him from view when he surfaced.

He had to fight to progress through the bloody sea. The blood was simply too thick, and some strange force seemed to pull him down as he swam.

However, just when he was about to reach a cluster of pillars, something caught his eye.

It was white, but upon closer inspection Draco realized that it wasn't a pile of bones.

As he got closer he saw it, and he couldn't be mistaken.

This was because on the bottom of the blood sea, completely unscathed, lay the same woman Draco had previously 'dealt with'.

'How is she alive?!' Draco wondered, convinced there was something incredible about the woman.

Draco stopped above the woman and thought about what he should do for a few long moments.

The woman's pale white skin and hair seemed to shine even in the murkiness of the blood, and although she made no movements, Draco figured she was still alive.

Eventually, he came to a decision.

Using his good hand, Draco grabbed the white-haired woman by the arm and began to lift her.

Her naked form was all too visible even in the murky blood, and Draco fought off distracting thoughts as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

As this was happening, the woman was slowly regaining her consciousness.

Her eyes struggled to see anything in the blood, and all she was able to see was a dark figure scooping her up into his arm.

'They're.. saving me?' the woman wondered in disbelief, before promptly falling back into unconsciousness.

However, she was gravely mistaken!

Draco was not 'saving her', for it could be more so described as making a use out of her.

'If this b*tch is as invulnerable as she seems, she'll make a good distraction. She doesn't seem to be much of a threat either.' Draco thought, not willing to let this chance go to waste.

In this manner the two of them continued up towards the surface.

Not long later Draco surfaced from the bloody sea with mighty, gulping breaths.

He had surfaced near a grouping of several pillars that stood close together. One of these pillars stood only a few feet above the sea's raging waters.

What the pillar lacked in length it made up for in width, and it could comfortably fit several people on it side-by-side.

It was this pillar that Draco chose to dump the woman onto.

Draco used the pillar as a handhold and hauled the woman up, throwing her roughly onto the stone surface of the pillar.

'One last thing.' Draco thought, clearing his throat.

"HEEEEEEEAAAA-" Draco shrieked, intentionally making his voice as high pitched as possible.

Draco had a normally deep voice, so it was impressive he could manipulate his vocal cords in such a way.

If Amira were to have seen such a performance she would have surely burst into laughter.

His job complete, Draco took a deep breath and reluctantly submerged himself back into the bubbling sea.

Earlier Draco had realized something that could potentially aid him greatly.

When Draco had been ambushed he had barely had time to take a breath before being submerged.

Despite this, Draco was able to survive underwater without losing consciousness for almost five minutes.

This meant that Draco's lung capacity was now incredible!

Draco didn't know when this happened, but he figured that this was just one of the ways his body has been changing over the past week.

This discovery led Draco to enacting this plan.

He would use the white-haired woman as bait, and wait for the other man to come over to finish her off.

Once the man was distracted trying to kill the seemingly indestructible woman, Draco would strike.

'I was the hunter becoming the prey, now I am back to being the hunter.' he thought, laughing inwardly.

Draco had the advantage of being submerged in the blood sea, making him almost entirely invisible from the surface.

Since Draco was luckily able to see a short distance through the blood, he would surely be able to spot the man as he attacked his bait.

In this way Draco waited for the man to arrive.

Except, Draco's every limb was now beginning to burn with unbearable pain.

At first it was just his hand, but now everything was a fiery numbness.

Draco had to struggle to hold his focus. He didn't know for how much longer he could endure this.

Luckily, he didn't have to wait for long.

The other man seemed eager to finish off the woman, for Draco saw him hastily appear on a nearby pillar.

With a white flash, the man suddenly disappeared and then reappeared again atop the same pillar the woman was on.

'Fast! He's faster than the first guy I fought, I didn't even see him move.' Draco thought, alarmed.

Once he was standing above the white-haired woman, the man wasted no time.

Dropping down to his knees, he wrapped his hands around the woman's neck and began to squeeze violently.

The man's muscles bulged from the effort, and the woman jumped into consciousness and began to squirm and spasm under the pressure.

"Ehk-! Egh-! Sto-!" the woman coughed out, unable to properly talk due to her vocal cords being compressed.

'This dude is one sick f*ck, I bet he's into this.' Draco guessed.

Suffocation wasn't the method he would've chosen, for Draco was sure there were better ways to quickly execute someone.

However, despite the man's attempts, the white-haired lady was not suffocating!

The man seemed to grow frustrated by the woman's lack of dying, and increased his efforts.

However, he was so engrossed in his murder attempt that he had failed to notice Draco creeping out from the sea of blood, right behind him.
