Paralyzed

Draco jumped out of the way just in time to avoid the whip as it struck out at where he was previously standing.

The whip cut a large gash into the road, and in a moment it was already flying back out at Draco.

Yougo was swinging the whip wildly, and he had a hateful look in his eyes as he screamed in rage.

"Die, Die, DIEEE!" he screamed, growing increasingly more angry as Draco dodged each of his strikes.

Yougo's men had also joined the fray, and they began shooting at Draco's position with their rifles.

The street was narrow and blocked off by tall buildings on either side, so Draco had little room to maneuver.

He grunted as he was inevitably hit with several bullets.

The bullets could not pierce his thick body hair, but they slowed him down enough to open him up to a strike from Yougo.

Draco brought his arms up just in time to block the strike, but he was sent flying backwards as he slammed into the front of his vehicle.

Draco dented the vehicle's hood as he landed on it, and as he stood up he heard the sound of gunfire coming from his vehicle.

He looked up to see Addo atop the armored vehicle. He had climbed up onto the machine gun and was now firing into the group ahead indiscriminately.

Draco's other soldier had also exited the vehicle and began shooting his rifle towards the two men behind them.

The suppressive fire stopped the attackers advance and prevented them from reaching the vehicle.

Addo had instantly mowed down two of the attackers in the front, and then turned around to help the other soldier clear the two attackers behind them.

The two men were forced to take cover behind their vehicle, but Addo riddled the car with bullets until the barrel overheated and the gun clicked empty.

This cleared Draco up to face Yougo and the remaining robber.

Draco climbed off of the hood of his vehicle and approached Yougo with a death-defying glare.

Yougo felt shivers down his spine as he looked at Draco walking towards him.

He realized that this seemingly easy target was much more dangerous than he had initially thought.

Yougo knew that he had to finish Draco off before he got too close.

He swung his whip at Draco, lashing out at him with tremendous force.

However, Draco had grown sick of this farce.

Right before the whip had reached Draco's position, he reached out with his hand.

The whip landed on Draco's palm with a thunderous boom. Draco bore the pain from the hit, and he grabbed the end of the whip with his hand!

Yougo's eyes widened in shock when he saw this. He fearfully pulled the whip with all of his strength, trying to dislodge it from Draco's grip.

Except, Draco was too strong!

Draco didn't budge an inch, and he flexed his enhanced muscles and roughly pulled the whip towards him.

Yougo held onto the whip in a futile attempt to regain control, but once he saw that he was being dragged across the road he let go of the whip and dropped to his knees.

Draco then pulled the whip to his position and threw it to the side, where it landed uselessly onto the road.

Yougo got up from the ground and backed up with terror in his eyes.

He was so struck with fear that he turned around and began to run back towards his vehicle.

Unfortunately for him, Draco wasn't willing to forgive and forget.

He sprinted after Yougo and in only two steps he appeared behind him!

Draco reached out a hand and pierced it into Yougo's back, wrapping his hand around the man's spine.

"AAAAAAGHH" Yougo screamed in pain, his screams traveling several blocks away.

Draco then clenched his fist until a resounding crack was heard.

Yougo's screams stopped as he lost the senses in his limbs, his body no longer able to feel the pain.

Draco pulled his hand out of Yougo's back and let the man fall limply to the ground.

Yougo gasped as he was left paralyzed from the neck down, and he looked ahead at the remaining robber with a pleading look in his eyes.

His subordinate was of no help though, and he dropped his weapon to the ground and fell to his knees.

The man cried out to Draco in an Arabic language, his hands in the air as he begged for mercy.

Draco didn't know what the man was saying, but it mattered little to him.

Draco walked up to the man and grabbed him by his shirt, hauling him back to his armored vehicle.

"Stay." Draco said to him, turning to walk back to the now crippled Yougo.

Draco grabbed Yougo by the leg and dragged him back to his vehicle as well.

He threw Yougo in front of the car like a piece of discarded trash, then headed over towards the vehicle Addo had riddled with bullets.

He saw that one of the robbers was dead, his head and body destroyed by bullets.

The other robber was lucky though, and only had a few bullet holes in his arms and legs.

Draco grabbed this robber and threw him next to Yougo and the other man who had dared to rob him.

"Addo, tie them up. We're taking them with us." he said.

Draco realized they wouldn't all fit inside of his armored vehicle, so he had his other soldier carry his new prisoners into Yougo's vehicle.

Before he left Draco made sure to pick up Yougo's whip, and then have his men collect the dead robber's weapons.

After everything was collected he told his soldier to drive behind him with the captured bandits.

Like this they loaded up and left the street, shaken but unharmed.

Addo once again drove Draco's vehicle. This time they were headed to Saalim's palace, the quest to find food forgotten.

They were only around five minutes away, so they quickly arrived at the palace grounds.

Once they arrived the guards in charge of the gate eyed Draco's vehicle suspiciously.

After all, they had just seen the vehicle a little over an hour ago. Now, it drove up with bullet holes all throughout its armor.

There was also now an additional vehicle following them, and it was also dotted with bullet holes.

They had heard gunfire earlier in the city, so they wondered what had happened just a few minutes ago.

"Are you okay, sir?" One of the guards asked.

Draco wasn't in the mood to explain, so he just told the guard that they were attacked by robbers.

The guard nodded his head warily, but ultimately let them through into the palace's courtyard.

Draco had Addo take them back to their residence, and once they were there everyone loaded out of the vehicles.

Addo and the other soldier carried the un-powered robbers into the residence, and Draco carried Yougo.

Snow hauled the cash filled box into the residence, her powered strength enough for such a task.

When everyone saw the group enter the residence with three prisoners in tow, they dropped what they were doing and watched with undisguised curiosity.

However, Draco said nothing as he dropped Yougo into the main room.

All of the prisoners were lined up on the floor, and Draco promptly addressed them.

He spoke to the two un-powered robbers first, "You two are lucky to be alive. Just sit tight until I figure out what to do with you."

Draco then looked towards Yougo, who was watching him with a soulless expression.

"Don't look so sad. You did this to yourself." Draco said with a chuckle.

Draco told his scientists to attend to the injured robber, for he didn't want the man to die so quickly.

He had no sure plans for the robbers yet, but he had an idea of how to put them to use. They would be useless dead though, so Draco intended to keep them alive for the time being.

"I'll be in my room if you need me." Draco said, leaving to shut himself behind closed doors.

He took this time to look over Yougo's whip.

Draco wasn't yet able to identify an artifact's strength by looking at it, but he estimated that it was at least a standard-grade artifact.

His reasoning was that it radiated a pressure that was similar in strength to the silver cane he had acquired in London.

It seemed more versatile than the silver cane though, and it was definitely a weapon he intended on keeping.

Draco was also thinking over what to do with his prisoners, but nothing concrete came to mind.

He could likely have the robbers join his forces, but that still left Yougo's fate undecided.

The man was now crippled, but that didn't mean he had no uses.

'Perhaps I can use him for experiments.' Draco thought cynically, not intending to waste such a resource.
