Draco was now traveling up the elevator towards Bashar's room at the top of the building.
When the elevator doors opened, he saw that Bashar was already waiting for him on his couch.
The large man was wearing silk pajamas in contrast to the suit he was previously wearing; he was evidently dragged out of bed by Draco's sudden appearance.
"Draco, I didn't expect to see you again so soon. I understand you made quite the commotion downstairs." he laughed.
He was laughing, but Draco could tell by his tone that he was actually quite peeved by Draco's intrusion and blatant disrespect.
Draco bowed his head in apology, "I didn't mean to cause such a fuss, but I have urgent matters to discuss with you."
Bashar was clearly tired, so he waved his hand for Draco to continue.
Draco walked up to take a seat across from Bashar.
"How long would it take you to get the materials to create the device I showed you?" he asked.
Bashar seemed lost in thought, "It would probably take around a week to get the materials, and another two weeks to create it. Except, I won't be able to get the materials until I can provide payment."
Draco nodded, "That's why I came here."
'Harry, bring out one hundred blood coins.' Draco said mentally.
'Understood, my lord.' replied the automaton, speaking to Draco through the green bracelet he wore on his wrist.
Suddenly, a green light appeared on the table in front of them. A small pile of blood coins abruptly popped into existence where the green light was.
When Bashar looked at the table, he cursed to himself in disbelief.
"D-Draco, how did you get these?!' he shouted, standing up from his seat.
Draco laughed, "I have my ways."
A random thought popped into Bashar's head, "That tragic attack on Tripoli earlier, I saw it on the news… and that royal seal you have."
Bashar continued, "I-Impossible, were you somehow involved in that attack?" he asked, connecting the dots.
Draco simply raised a finger to his lips, it was as if he was saying 'Shhh.'
Bashar was now looking at Draco in a new light. After all, the man had just left his shop a few days ago after having just learned of the existence of blood coins.
Now, he had returned with enough blood coins to raise an army!
Bashar sighed, "I won't pry into your secrets, but this is more than enough blood coins to start the process."
Draco raised an eyebrow, "Didn't you say you needed a hundred blood coins?"
Bashar shook his head, "That was just a rough estimate. I didn't think you could really come up with such a thing so I hadn't bothered to do proper calculations."
He continued, "I could likely have your devices built with around ninety blood coins."
Draco chuckled, "Well you can keep the rest of them, just have it built as fast as possible."
Bashar nodded solemnly, "It shall be done, you have my word."
Draco made eye contact with Bashar, searching his face for signs of deceit.
From what Draco could tell it looked like the man was being sincere, "I hope so. Please don't disappoint me." he said.
Bashar bowed his head, he had grown to respect Draco in the short time they have known each other.
Someone who could come up with such a large sum of money was no doubt an extraordinary individual.
Seeing that Bashar understood the importance of his task, Draco began to stand up.
However, as he was leaving he remembered something.
"Oh, that's right. You have this female servant who is an absolute b*tch. I don't recommend keeping someone like that around." Draco said, turning to head back down the elevator.
"I'm sorry she offended you. I shall deal with her." Bashar said, watching the elevator doors close.
Draco left Bashar's shop and climbed back into the armored bus.
This time their destination was the palace, he intended on getting a good night's rest after everything he had been through in the past day.
The bus pulled up to the palace's gates and was stopped by the guards, but they let him through after seeing Draco's royal seal.
'This thing is really handy.' Draco thought to himself as the bus stopped in front of the palace's steps.
Draco got out of the bus with his soldiers, and they all climbed up the palace's steps with exhaustion written all over their faces.
Snow walked behind all of them, anger still showing on her pretty features.
The guards opened the palace doors for them, and Draco and his forces walked through the throne room until they reached the residential quarters.
Snow rushed past Draco and stormed into their room, and Draco sighed as he followed her through the door.
"Hey, Snow! Can you calm down for a bit and listen to m-" Draco said, but he was cut off by the sound of their bedroom door closing.
Draco shook his head as he went to one of the adjacent rooms. He realized she still needed some time to calm down.
Draco tore the tattered clothes off of his body and threw them into a pile on the floor.
Climbing into the bed, Draco felt exhaustion creeping over him.
His powered body could easily stay up for days with no rest, but for some reason Draco felt more tired than he had within the Khalid Dynasty's gravis chamber.
Although Draco didn't realize it, witnessing such a large amount of bloodshed and death had taken a mental toll on him.
As he fell asleep, dreams of Formica crushing families beneath its feet replayed within his mind.
When Draco woke back up the sun was already out. He dragged himself out of bed and remembered that he was still naked.
'Harry, take out that pair of robes I grabbed yesterday.' he thought.
Green light flashed as a pair of green and white robes appeared on the bed.
Draco didn't care much for the color green, but these robes were probably better than any other clothes he could currently get.
Sliding into them, Draco was surprised to feel that they were shockingly similar to the Savior Robes worn by the Hamin.
They made his body feel lighter, and they provided him with rejuvenating effects and mental clarity like the cane he had acquired back in London.
'These are better than Savior Robes!' Draco thought in amazement, stretching his limbs out and jumping up and down.
Draco left his room to find that Snow was still hiding away from him.
He decided to put her out of his mind as he left the residence. He wanted to spend the day being productive.
Draco was now in possession of four different progenitor serums, and he intended on putting them to use in some way or the other.
The first thing on his agenda though was to reward all of his men for their service.
He walked through the hallway and banged on the doors of each of the rooms, yelling at everyone to come out.
Soon, all of Draco's forces flooded out of their rooms into the hallway. Most of them were rubbing their eyes with grogginess, clearly just waking up.
"Rise and shine! Everybody line up." Draco commanded.
All twenty of the people in Draco's forces had formed up into a long line across the hallway.
First, there were his fifteen soldiers. The soldiers were made up of the African soldiers he had recruited, the robbers he had found in Sabha, and the prisoners he had rescued from slavers.
This wasn't even mentioning Hamza, the massive street thug that towered over the rest of his forces.
He also had five scientists remaining after the dangerous journeys he had been through. He had 'kidnapped' these people way back in Khalifa Haftar's compound.
Truthfully, this was more like gainful employment than kidnapping at this point.
After assessing his forces, Draco cleared his throat and addressed everyone.
"You have all served me well. It is time for pay day." he said with a bright smile.
When his forces heard the word, "pay" their eyes began to light up. They were all paying attention now.
"Amber, translate what I'm saying for me." Draco said.
He continued, "Some of you have been with me for some time now, and others are recent additions. However, I take care of my people no matter what."
"We will endure many trials and tribulations, and some of you may die. If you wish to stick around you need to take your job seriously. You have the potential to become gods amongst men." He finished.
Draco then waited for Amber to finish translating.
"Now then, everyone hold your hands out for your paycheck." he said.
Once he saw that everyone's hands were up, Draco began to walk down the line.
He told Harry to place thirty gold coins into each of their hands, and for dramatic effect Draco had the automaton do it one by one.
Flashes of green light went off through the hallway as Draco gave each of his people a handful of golden coins.
Thirty gold coins wasn't a lot to Draco, but to the average person that was over a year's worth of pay.
After all, a single gold coin was worth almost $2,000!
Draco didn't know how much money he had now, but he was probably at least a billionaire.
To him, this was like giving out candy.
