Draco sat on the palace courtyard's top step as he watched the sunset above him.
In less than a half an hour the sun had fully set, and in a few more minutes he could see the moon slowly rising above the palace walls.
Draco mentally called out to his automaton, 'Hey Harry, how do I start training the first stage of moon manipulation?'
'The first step is mediation. The process is vague, but based on the descriptions you must channel your inner psyche to be able to feel the moon's gravitational pull from the earth.' Harry explained.
Calling it vague was an understatement, for Draco barely understood what Harry was saying.
'How do you channel your inner 'psyche'? And what does the gravitational pull even feel like?' he asked.
'I cannot describe what gravity feels like, for I have no feelings or senses. However, I have records detailing the inner psyche of Habbar. You would better know Habbar as powered individuals.'
The automaton continued, 'Inner psyche is described as a heightened sense of self-awareness one can have of themselves. This awareness can be achieved through intensive mediation sessions.'
'So once I unlock this 'inner psyche', I'll be able to feel the moon's gravity?' asked Draco
'From my understanding it is not so simple. Unlocking your inner psyche is merely the first step. My records indicate that you should meditate with a deep breathing technique. I have several meditation techniques within my memory banks if you wish to use one.' Harry said.
'I don't know the first thing about meditation, so I definitely need one of those techniques.' responded Draco.
'Understood, I shall instruct you. Are you ready to begin?' Harry asked.
'Let's get this started.' Draco said.
'This mediation technique is called Bhedana Pranayama, translating to Moon Breathing. It should be a suitable meditation technique to compliment the body art you wish to learn.'
Harry continued, 'Firstly, you must eliminate any distractions. Next, there are several steps you must follow.'
Draco listened closely to Harry's instructions, blocking out the sounds of Benghazi's city from his mind.
Harry's robotic voice then sounded off from within his mind.
'Put your right thumb over your right nostril, and rest your other fingers in your palm, extending your fourth and fifth fingers.' instructed the automaton.
Draco followed Harry's instructions, placing his thumb on his nose and positioning his other fingers accordingly.
'Now breathe in through your left nostril, then close it with your right thumb, and release your thumb from your left nostril.'
These instructions were seemingly nonsensical, but Draco followed them nonetheless.
'Finally, Breathe out through your right nostril.' Harry instructed.
Draco let out a deep breath, his enhanced lungs creating a large gust of air that blew his robes around him.
Harry's voice went off in his head, 'Repeat this action for a few minutes until your breathing slows down and you feel more relaxed.'
Draco said nothing, and instead continued through the motions of the breathing technique for several minutes.
After a few minutes passed, Draco could feel his head lightening. All of his worries melted away, and the stress that had built up in his mind over the past several weeks disappeared.
There were now no thoughts in his head, and before he realized it he was stuck in a meditative trance.
Harry's voice then sounded off in his head, breaking his meditative state.
'Now that you have achieved a meditative state, you must try and find your inner psyche. My descriptions depict it as the place where your blood triangulates within your circulatory system. Your enhanced senses should allow you to sense this.'
Draco cursed after his concentration was broken, but he knew that Harry was just instructing him on how to continue the process.
'Alright, let's try this again.' Draco thought, this time intending on trying to find his inner psyche once he entered a meditative state.
He went through the motions of the Moon Breathing technique, and in a few minutes he was once again placed into a meditative trance.
Draco lost track of time, and his mind drifted off into an endless abyss. However, he suddenly remembered he was supposed to be doing something.
He remembered that he had to look for some kind of object, but he wasn't quite sure what it was.
The only place he could currently look was within himself though, so he did just that.
When Draco observed his body he could feel the blood pumping through his veins with an alarming clarity.
Draco's blood currently moved at a rate that was far faster than that of a normal human. His blood pumped at a speed that made him dizzy, and he felt his heart beating with a rhythmic pulse.
Draco focused on his heart beat, and he followed the movement of his blood as it traveled through his blood vessels.
He did this for a long while, but he had already lost track of time.
Unbeknownst to Draco, he had been tracking the flow of his blood for well over an hour!
Eventually, Draco started to notice something strange.
When he was still in school, he remembered learning that the blood flowed in the circulatory system through your heart before reaching the rest of your body.
However, this seemed to not entirely be the case with his body.
His blood still flowed through his heart, but it seemingly converged at another point in his body. This point was located right below his chest, and after his blood flowed through his heart it traveled through his entire body before gathering there.
After the blood sat at this strange point in his chest for a while, it went back through his heart to restart the circulatory process once again.
Draco focused on this unknown point in his chest, and he felt it pulsating with the power of a dozen hearts.
As he observed it, he began to feel like it was calling out to him. It was beckoning him to accept it, and to let it free.
'Is this my Inner Psyche?' Draco wondered, mentally prodding at this strange object within himself.
The thing was less like an object and more like a bundle of energy though, for it didn't seem to have any tangible form.
Eventually, Draco gave into the beckoning calls of his inner psyche. It just felt like the right thing to do.
Once he did so, he could feel his consciousness begin to get sucked even further within himself.
He completely lost the feeling of his body, and the heightened sense of awareness he was experiencing disappeared.
Draco could no longer feel anything from within himself, and it was like his body suddenly became empty.
However, he could feel an intense pressure coming from above him.
At least, he thought that it was above him, for he had lost any semblance of direction once his consciousness was sucked into his inner psyche.
He focused on this intense pressure, and he could feel that his inner psyche was traveling towards it.
As it went closer and closer, he felt like his inner psyche was heating up. In the next moment it was burning, and soon the heat became so unbearable Draco felt like he was engulfed in flames.
The pain became so intense that Draco screamed aloud, abruptly snapping out of his meditative state.
Looking around, Draco blinked with confusion as he saw that there was now light shining around him.
As his eyes focused, Draco realized that it was now daytime!
'Don't tell me.. was I really meditating the whole night?!' Draco wondered in shock.
As Draco stood up from his position on the top of the palace steps, his legs and rear were sore from sitting on stone the entire night.
As he stretched out his limbs, Draco felt strangely energized.
It was as if he had just slept for an entire night, even though he was actually awake the entire time.
The sun was now beaming down on Draco's face, and this made him remember the burning sensation he had felt earlier.
'Was that burning pressure I felt earlier from the sun? Maybe my inner psyche traveled towards it thinking that it was the moon.' Draco realized.
'I guess I have to wait until night comes back around before I try again.' he thought to himself.
Draco then turned to head into the palace, he wanted to check in with all of his troops to see how their own training was going.
