In the midst of darkness on a rainy night, the sound of thunder can be heard roaring to life.
- FLASH!!
A single strand of lightning danced across the night sky, as it struck the ground somewhere in the woods.
"Huff... huff..."
A single figure leaned against a tree in the darkness as his figure was illuminated by thunder in the night sky.
"Huff... huff..."
The figure was kneeling on the floor as his hand was using the tree as support, as he tried standing up using the tree as leverage.
"Ugh... look at my pathetic state... so afraid of me they resulted in ganging up on me..."
- Thunderclap!
Ignoring the lighting he scanned his surroundings.
"Ha... haa..."
'I need to hide so I can recover. Without hiding, I won't recover hence ill get caught.'
A few feet away laid a single fox covered in rain and mud as it slept.
'I need to erase my presence and my existence.... fox?' ruining his train of thought he spotted the fox covered in mud and rain.
'That'll work...' a smile crept onto his face that was hidden by the darkness that surrounded the forest.
The fox opened its eyes sensing his presence to find a human kneeling before him.
-FLASH!
The flash of electricity illuminated the forest for a second before darkness enveloped the forest once more.

"Hmm... dog treats are on sale. Usually, they're very expensive... oh these are in stock again, they always run out of these." A teen can be seen wearing a black and white school uniform as he scanned the aisles of a convenience store.
"The dogs should like these new ones too... put their kind of picky at times, it'll be a waste of money if they don't like these new treats.
Oh, some new toys should be useful too... so many options. Might as well buy them all." The teen smiled as he thought about all the things for his dogs, as he smiled he didn't notice a group of girls next to him staring at him with sparkling eyes with red faces.
grabbing everything he wanted to buy, he ignored the girls ogling him and exited the store after paying for his items as he walked down the street passing by multiple stores gaining multiple stares of young and old women around him.
"I did it again... I came to the store for something and forgot and just decided to buy stuff for the dogs..." he mumbled as he waited for the walking sign at a stop walk as he rummaged through his bag ignoring his surroundings.
"Hope they like them..." stopping his rummage he closed his bag and finally paid attention to his surroundings, he spotted a young kid dropping his ball into the oncoming traffic.
The kid decided to run after his ball, as his mother was on her phone talking with someone.
-Hooooonk!
'Shit!' The teen looked at the kid as he was feet away from getting hit by a black sedan.
The teen held his bag tight and vanished from his spot.
Instantly appearing right behind the kid and vanishing once more missing the vehicle by mere inches.
Then finally reappears at the other end of the crosswalk with the kid in his arms.
The kid was confused as he looked around trying to figure out where he was.
Putting him down on the ground he made sure the kid was okay, "Be careful next time always check your surroundings."
"Did you see what happened?"
"It looked like the kid was about to get hit but vanished."
"Yeah, I saw it too..."
"Hey look the kids over there!"
Multiple voices were heard talking about what had just transpired.
"Lin!" A voice was heard calling the young kid.
"Well, that's my cue kid." The teen said as he started walking away leisurely.
'Thankfully I saved that kid...' he thought as he looked back once more.
"Lin, are you hurt! I'm so sorry! what happened, how are you not hurt??" the young kid's mom asked worriedly and frightened.
"I don't know... I think I was saved by that guy." the kid said as he pointed in a certain direction.
"What guy honey?" the mom asked as she looked to where the kid was pointing.
The young kid was shocked as he couldn't spot the teen in the crowd almost like he vanished, unaware the teen simply blended in with the shadows.
...
'Damn that was close... I only used my powers because the kid was in danger...
I almost exposed my powers in public...' the teen thought as he exited the shadows successfully and blended in with the crowd as the sun started going down.

"Hey, guys how have you been? I didn't mean to be late... some stuff came up. You guys must be hungry right? Hmm now that I notice you two are always together... maybe some funny business? hahaha~" the teen said as he was in front of his house and putting some dog food with water on the floor as two cats waited.
"Woof~"
"Woof~"
"... why aren't you guys eating?" he asked as he noticed that they weren't eating but staring at him.
He noticed one of the dogs exiting the gate in front of his house as it tried getting his attention.
"???"
He followed the black-furred dog, as the other dog followed while he closed the gate to his house and followed both dogs.
"Where are we going...?" the teen asked the dogs as he noticed they were leading him through the woods before the dogs stopped.
"Have we arriv... huh!?" the teen was shocked as he found a fox on the floor covered by mud and blood while the two dogs stood in front of it.
...
Back at the house lay a fox still sleeping before his eyes fluttered before they opened and was greeted by a modern white ceiling as the ceiling was covered by different white platforms with white lights illuminating the gaps in between.
'Hm? What happened? Where am I?'
'???' raising his hand his vision noticed a white paw.
'This...' he also tried raising his feet and noticed it was another white paw.
His ears twitched.
'Im a dog?No... no... a fox!?!'
He was in thought before a memory appeared in his head reminding him of what happened.
He stood in front of a fox and laid his hand on its head; before lighting surrounded both his and the foxes figures.
'I must have transformed at the last minute...'
- Click
"Oh? You're awake? I'm glad..." a teen walked in through the door.
'?... Who's this?' the fox thought.
'Did he put me here while I was unconscious?'
"Oh, wait here..." the teen said as he walked out the room, and the sound of rattling was heard along with something hitting metal.
A few seconds later the teen reappeared with two bowls in his hands.
"So how come you were passed out in the woods? Although you had blood on you, you weren't wounded, so maybe it belonged to someone or something else?"
'I don't like him...' the fox thought as he stared at the teen as he felt... threatened.
"Here. You should eat something." the teen said as he put down the two bowls revealing a bowl of water and a bowl of meat
'He wants me to eat raw meat? Does he dare? The great Nyx?' the fox thought as he stared at the two bowls but towards the meat dowl with disdain.
- Rumble...
The sound of his stomach rumbling told him a different story. He sighed as he stood up and started drinking the water.
As he was drinking he felt a pair of hands under his arms as he was lifted in the air.
"let's check what you are..." the teen said as he looked down on the fox's private parts.
"Check, what on me idiot." the sound of a soothing male voice resounded out but instead of soothing it sounded scary.
"Put me down." the same voice resounded out once more even scarier.
"Hm?" the teen lowered the fox and looked around.
"Who's there?" the teen's voice went from calm to ice-cold within moments.
"Put me down! Are you deaf you beautiful son of bitch? I'll kill you you want a hole in your chest? Hm?"
The teen turned his head to see the fox with a murderous look on his face with its mouth still opened and his paw raised.
"....."
- Bop!
The teen bopped the fox's nose with a calm serene face after putting the fox on the ground.
"Bastard!" the fox shouted as he tried threatening the teen.
"... Did you compliment me earlier?" the teen ignored the furious fox as the previous comment floated through his head.
"NO! You are just delirious!" The fox looked away in jealousy ignoring the teen's piercing gaze.
"What's your name?" the fox asked as he answered the teen's piercing gaze with one of his own.
"... Echo Drake." Echo replied.
"Echo, bring me that chair." the cat asked.
"...fine." Echo was reluctant but figured to just go with it.
Echo stood up and grabbed the chair meant for his desk and gave it to the fox before sitting on the floor.
The fox looked at the chair before he lowered his stance and leaped up in the air.
- Thump
"..."
"..."
"Hahaha, you dumb fox cant use your body correctly haha~!" Echo couldn't contain his laughter due to the fox completely missing the chair and completely going over it.
"Shut up!" the fox yelled back angrily.
Echo complied as he felt danger lurking over him
Trying again the box lowered his body and leaped in the air but gentler this time as he landed on the chair.
"It's too early to have my cover blown..." The fox sighed in defeat as he looked at the kid before scanning the room.
"???"
He looked around the room and saw a fox in the mirror.
"Who's this devilish fox." the fox asked not knowing he was staring at his own, reflection.
"Mhm such nice white fur..." the fox said as he compliment the fox in the mirror still not registering what was happening.
"What's this!?"
'The white fox is... ME?!!!!' the fox shouted as he looked down at his body in surprise as it finally registered what was happening.
'The great Nyx...!!'
"NOOOOO~!!!" Nyx yelled in agony.
