Aladdin

After listening to each other stories everyone was now caught, up to speed on what had occurred during the past couple of days.

" Your, planing on directing your own movies cousin?" Asked Duke after hearing his uncles retelling of events.

" No, no I'm just the president, I'll leave the rest to the professionals." Replied Harry hurriedly. Alex on the other hand had his own thoughts and ideas as he listened.

An hour went by as all five men discussed in detail about their business collaboration. Martha, Jennifer and Ashley made the decision not to join the discussion, as they flet that they wouldn't be of much help in the discussion.

Martha and Jennifer have a basic understanding of business, however the topics being discussed wasn't really their line of expertise. Hence, they decided not to get involved in the negotiatio, they'd rather ask about the results of the discussion.

Alex had remained quiet the whole time, listening attentively to the topics being discussed. For instance Harry plans for Fire Foxx production studios, the plan was to partner with big movie studios in Hollywood to distribute future projects. His uncle's mainly explained the in and outs of business idea for Noir Trending company.

///Authors Note I'm not good at coming up the names so please bare with me and if any reader can come up with any better names I'm open to suggestions.///

Alex already knew of many companies right now he would like to invest, if his parents allowed him. Depending on how much those stocks were currently worth at this moment, sadly his parents flatley rejected him.

With them already basically allowing, him to run his own company under their name and with them start up Star Horizon.

Using more money to gamble in stock trading was a big no. So, Alex had to give up on going into the stock market, however it seemed that another opportunity had now been opened up for him.

His uncle had just opened up the discussion in partnering up, together in building up there respective businesses, including Blue Star Interactive. This is so that they could help each other out more fully in a business sense.

Alex was already excited just hearing it, he was currently struggling to suppress his joy. He even had the urge to start running around in the room, which was something he would have done before, his accident when he got really excited. It hadn't been even been a full year yet, so his old habits were still there, which he currently trying to change.

"Alex? You've been quite for nearly the whole meeting, is there something on your mind?" Spoke Daniel to Alex, who had been silent during the entire conversation sitting next to Duke.

" If there something on your mind, you don't have to force yourself to stay here and listen to our ramblings." Spoke Daniel; he wasn't looking down on Alex, but since Alex hadn't said a word the entire time. He thought maybe he was bored with their current conversation.

" Sorry, I was just getting my thoughts together, I've been paying close attention to what uncle's and Harry words. " Answered Alex.

Unhurriedly not wanting to seem weird in front of his uncle and cousin. He now really thought that he needed to stop getting lost in his own head in front of other people.

Alex could think faster than most people now, but it wasn't to the point like in anime, where characters could think to themselves for two episodes straight while in the middle of a fight.

" I would just like to ask if we're all going to wield the same amount of speaking rights and influence in each other's businesses? " Asked Alex thoughtfully. To Harry and Daniel who had been talking about becoming partners.

They hadn't yet gone into any details about, how much say either of them would all wield in their respective businesses. Alex wanted to know this as he might not be able to have much decision making power in either of his uncles businesses. Alex was still just a child in the eyes of most people, so his words had little influence on others.

The fact that he had gotten this far was amazing, his now worried that he wouldn't have much say in matters. Alex knew his uncle was just being nice to him when he offered to make a tv series out of one of his stories. Alex had used his uncles own words to his advantage at that time.

" Well if every one agrees here, than yes, we can all offer up our own advice on certain topics within each other's companies. But, the final decisions would be in the hands of founder. Since we aren't merging our businesses or anything. Am I right, Daniel? " Explained Oliver looking at both Daniel and Harry.

If they all wanted to be partners they needed to have a certain level of trust, and be able to make compromises if they were to make this partnership work.

"Yes, it's important to hear different opinion on certain issues when running a company or business, so Alex if you have any opinions than speak freely. But, don't be disappointed if either I or Harry disagree with your suggestion. " Said Daniel.

Hearing those words Alex relaxed and decided to give his own suggestions from here on out freely, no longer worrying about the likelihood of rejection. Alex also knew that as time goes on everyone will take his suggestions more seriously.

With his knowledge of the future, and many of the things he says and talks about would become reality without him needing to get involve.

" I would first like to say that I very interested in stocks trading, as well as the entertainment industry. So I would like to give my suggestions on these here." Oliver and Duke smirked at Alex words as he seemed to be interested in everything now a day's.

It was likely Alex would be starting new businesses here and there every other day if they didn't stop him.

" For instance I have been thinking of creating a portfolio management software program to help track or predict every outcome of a potential investment. This can hopefully help uncle in predicting how likely a specific investment is likely to fail." Suggested Alex.

Daniel and Harry were both surprised by Alex suggestions. Blackrack was actually the first company to use this type software to their advantage in 1998 sky rocketing their company. Blackrack business is built on ETF ( exchange-traded funds. ) An ETF contains diversified investment to reduce an investor risk.

Rather than buying a single stock in a single company you're investing in a fund that buys stocks, commodities, and other securities. And there reason why Blackrack became such, a global business that owned ten percent of the world's total assets.

And this was all thanks to the software, Alex just suggested to create for his uncle now. Alex decided since his uncle's business was quite similar to that of Blackrack he decided to create Aladdin which, was what Blackrack name their software.

Alex promptly explained how the software would work and the possibilities benefit it could bring in the future. " Alex are you saying you can make something like that?" Asked Daniel wanting to make sure that Alex wasn't over estimating himself.

Daniel wasn't an expert on computer's besides what he himself knew what was possible with it, other than what he has read and heard. " Yes, I can. However it will take some time to make it and the software itself will have to learn by itself as well. Until then the only other thing I want to ask is if I can suggest on some business uncle can look into for me."

Hearing Alex words Daniel nodded his, he decided to wait and see this software system in action for himself before deciding on anything. "You can write down the names of the stocks your interested investing in, I can have my stuff look into them and assess them. While I wait to see this management software you're talking about, before I make any decisions on using it. "

Alex nodded his head as well, silently calculating how accurate he could make the management software for his uncles trading company. Before turning his attention towards Harry direction. Harry noticed that it was now his turn to see what Alex had in store for him.

Harry was already well aware of the agreement his brother-in-law had made with Alex. He had also heard from him the story about how Alex wrote a book that caught the attention of Steven Spielberg.

Who than bought the right to make a movie adaptation, he had also found some time to read through the television script for Friends. That he had received from his brother-in-law.

" I would first like to know if you and uncle have come to a decision of turning the script I wrote into a series. " Asked Alex.

"Yes, since my brother-in-law has already made a promise to make a series out of the script you wrote into a reality. I have no objection, so you don't have to worry about it." Replied Harry acrossing his arms together.

"Thank you." Said Alex earnestly.

" Since that's the case I assume I can hand over all my other television scripts I've already written, as well as all the episode I've already written for Friends." Said Alex.

"Oh, you've already written all the episodes by yourself." Asked Harry a little surprised. Usually television series would have at least 9 episodes writers. Who would come together and work around a table (usually referred to as the writers room)

The average TV-Show will usually have one Showrunner, and about 9 episode writers. The showrunner will gather the 9 episode writers (or so) and present them with a basic outline of the whole season and detailed character bio's.

They, then collaborate on fleshing out a detailed treatment or synopsis of each episode. After they are done, each writer then goes home and writes out the script for their episode.

The reason for all this is because it allows them to produce a whole season worth of scripts in the time that it would take one writer to write an episode. In this way, they can produce approximately 9 full episodes ( the scripts, that is) in about 3 weeks.

"Yes, I've already written about thirty episodes by myself. So about two seasons worth of episodes." Answered Alex he had been working on this in his spare time since his accident, he's also been practicing speed typing. However, Alex didn't plan on writing the entire ten seasons of friends or any series.

Basically he wanted them to first have a full grasp of what the series is all about and understand the characters. He would have liked to temporarily be the head showrunner for Friends. If they weren't able to get the original director and showrunners of the originals series.

He would have more confidence in leaving everything to the original creator's as they, were more likely to keep it as close to the original Friends series with minor changes. Harry and Daniel on the other hand decided not to ask how Alex had written two seasons worth of episodes by himself.

Oliver and Duke who weren't too knowledgeable about how television productions are usually done, so they weren't too surprised by Alex words.

"Huh, so do you plan on being there for when shooting the entire series. " Asked Harry.

" No, no. Father and mother won't allow that. I also have school and I need to focus on Blue Star Interactive. It's fine if you can have someone to keep me up dated on things, if father and mother were to allow it I could even drop in when am free. " Said Alex hurriedly not wanting to get in trouble with his father who was still in the room.

" I see we can make some arrangements for you if uncle and aunt are fine with me taking you to the set. To be involved in helping us set up things for your show in the early stages of production." Said Harry looking at Oliver as he said it.

Oliver reminded quite for a few seconds before speaking on the matter. " I'll discuss this with Martha after the meeting is over and see what we can agree on.
