[11] - The Invitation

"So you're telling me that you're being hunted by literally the most strongest and influential family in the world?" Xander asked with a frown, but this one was an act since he already knew that this would happen.

"..." The duo was silent, their assumptions weren't necessarily correct, but they thought why would Xander go through all of those troubles protecting just the two of them? They weren't in a Disney Movie.

"... You do know that what you did sounds dumb, right? You went straight to me when satellites in the sky could easily watch someone, now I someone wanting my ass."

Xander simply sighed, he again brewed himself a cup of tea whilst acting angered. This was necessary since he needed some information about this world, and who would be better than someone who has lived in it?

What he's doing was simply making the situation as if the duo would owe him very deeply since he would be going through troubles.

Eula's hardened gaze responded, however, she still has her pride. Alice on the other hand was dumb and naive. Xander would slowly and casually enjoy breaking the two, making them his puppets.

Like how Vampires makes Humans loyal to them by giving them their blood and transforming them into phenomenal creature, or perhaps charming them with their beauty. Xander would make the duo's world only revolve around him.

"... Perhaps, let's say. I did protect you two since I really can. But why would I? What advantages would I get? The only thing I would be receiving is a powerful enemy with unknown connections, remember that the Royal Family has been existing for thousands of years and has known the Supernatural World. Who knows what supports them from behind the shadows, right?"

Forcing them to swallow their own pride, Xander sneakily smirked as he gulped down the cup of tea in his hands. He then focused all of his attention on the two.

"I-I..." Whilst Alice wasn't that smart, she was still a former knight of the Code of Integrity. She has a very calculating mind, but perhaps it was developed very poorly hence the reason why she was dumb.

Eula grits her teeth and clenched them very hard, she didn't know what to do. Perhaps it has been her first time experiencing this situation, was she spoiled?

"..." The duo again was sent silent. Xander then steadily stood up, surprising the two. He then walked towards the front door and opened it wide whilst saying.

"I don't want to spend nonsense with a duo of girls who don't want to speak. Perhaps I might escape trouble itself by not associating with the two of you, decide quickly since time is running out."

Making the two think frantically. Xander slowly consumes the time as he looked on his clockwatch, Alice noticed the similarities between him and Princess Xandra, perhaps it wouldn't be that hard to follow him around since she has done the same thing to another person.

"I-I..."

"I what? Perhaps you want to be my maid?" Giving this sneaky hint, Alice's eyes brightened as she exclaimed loudly.

"Yes! I would be your maid!!"

'Hah?!' Eula looked at Alice wierdly, was it okay to think frantically?

Xander grinned and said. "No."

This made Alice slump, she didn't expect this retort from Xander at all. Her mind was accelerating thinking about how to solve the situation, she wanted to live.

Eula looked at the sheath in her hands then frowned, does she have to fight just to live?

"Maid? Why would I need one? Your calculations earlier was correct of me having the Power of Time. Then why would I need a maid when I could just reverse everything back to place?"

Xander was correct again. However, this just made the two depressed again. They didn't know what to do.

However, a knock was suddenly heard and everyone looked at the opened door Xander was holding. It was a young woman with fair skin, long black hair, and upturned red eyes.

"Mrs. Forger! Do you have any business here?" Xander asked nicely.

"Hello, Xander! Well, a mail named after you was sent just today. I just delivered it since I was coming back home from work!" Yor Forger worked in London's City Hall, every letter that came outside the country came from the City Hall first.

Since Yor found Xander's letter in it, she thought why not deliver it herself?

"Thank you, Mrs. Forger!" Xander bowed which made Yor leave.

He then opened the letter and slowly read it out.

"You are being invited to [New York Fashion Week] as an exclusive guest of 'Jessica Lomax', Executive Vice-President, Global Head of Design, as well as Fashion Designer of [Calvin Klein Inc.]."

Alice and Eula heard this and were naturally shocked, Xander on the other hand smirked. His beauty is really above standards.

"Well... I have to prepare and it seems like, your time has ran out." Xander said whilst looking at his clockwatch.

"I have to invite you to leave my home since you are now unwelcomed, you have wasted my precious time as well as intentionally irritate me." Xander said whilst he blinked once, this again made the duo's control in their body lose.

Their eyes showed desperation, anxiousness, and panic.

Alice didn't do anything other than blame Eula for her pride. Why? If Eula helped her out earlier, they wouldn't be in this situation. She kept on being silent despite being talkative earlier.

Eula on the other hand was depressed, it was her first time getting rejected at the cost of her life. Not swallowing her useless pride made her learn her lessons, but now that the opportunity was going away, she was desperate to call out but can't.

Xander merely smirked as his plan was going the way it should be, he then waved his hand. Making the door shut before Alice and Eula could even enter again.

"I hope you 'survive' for our next meeting!"
