Chapter 122 - Adventurer Guild

The adventurer guild, an organization that was founded by Farmaun Gold, one of the battle oriented heroes who had been summoned to defeat the demon king a hundred thousand years ago and ascended into becoming the Heroic God of Fire and the one who maintains the Fire attribute within Lambda. 

He had taken this divinity after Zantark, God of War and Fire, the one who chose him as his hero had fused with an Evil God of Dark Dust and the Evil God of Evil Darkness turning him into monstrous form of it former self that made the said hero thought his god had been corrupted.

However, he had already awakened from his mistake after the guidance of Bellwood which is a job skill that affects allies into having the same beliefs as you and influencing your actions. Though, it is the same as brainwashing and makes the person well aware of their actions.

Which is why Farmaun Gold had been trying to contact Vida to ask for forgiveness and would soon come into contact with Schneider. 

Of course Alda had tried stopping him but couldn't be hasty since Farmaun Gold maintained the world by being the source of Fire attribute and without it would collapse the whole world. He's been trying to redeem himself after tens of thousands years. 

"Talk about nerd convention…"

Justine commented looking at the people who wore medieval armor and could see the typical dwarves and elves. The adventurers only took quick glances but didn't pay them much attention since it's everyday new adventurers are wishing to become one.

However, those higher class adventurers around C class could notice that they were run of the mill people to mess with. Fortunately this place isn't some Chinese guild and none of the adventurers dared underestimate them.

It would be a newbie mistake if they underestimate an enemy especially without gauging them properly. 

"Hello there, we would like to register?"

Ryuu approached the receptionist who observed them, having seen many adventurers allow them to inspect someone without the need of much info. It was their [ intuition ] skills that let them guess. 

The receptionist gave them paper to fill out their name, age, etc. They only gave their name and age as the others were only fake information that Ryuu prepared beforehand. Afterward, they took a device that allowed the guild to see the status by dropping a piece of their blood.

'I wonder if I could use the [ Hivemind ] blood to hide my status?'

Ryuu shook his head since their name would also be shown in the status and opted to use [ Hypnosis ] to change what the receptionist saw. 

"Here you are, congratulations on becoming an adventurer. After seeing your status would let you start at D class."

He nodded since it was enough to give them some interesting jobs and works but that isn't the point why he decided to join the adventurer guild.

'I expected better but it seems they don't have much resistance to my parasites.'

Ryuu had been silently planting his virus to everyone making sure it was unnoticeable and untraceable. He was careful in selecting who to infect using his [ Aura ] and [ Intuition ]. 

Soon everyone else acquired their Adventurer Card that was a small piece of metal that showed their name and class. Ryuu nodded and decided to explore and find more informants to infect. 

"How interesting that something like this exists. As expected from a world full of magic."

"What now, Ryuu?"

Nezuko wanted to explore the city since it was her first time seeing a place that was different from the kingdom of Talosheim. 

"How about we split up? You girls can do anything you want."

"Then I'll head to the local library. I want to know more about this world."( Trese )

"I'll go ahead and find some interesting jobs. The harder the better."( Justine )

"I'll just go where you're going, Ryuu."( Kie )

"Can I bring out, Blue? I want to do some hunting on my own using blue."( Nezuko )

"Maybe we should try registering him as a tamed monster later."

"Me and Kanae are going to find some Inn to spend our day."( Shinobu )

Deciding their course of action, Ryuu quickly took to seeing any jobs and selected investigating a Devil Nest. A Devil's Nests are home to many different types of monsters.

They can be found in a variety of natural environments, such as forests, mountainous areas, or deserts, among others. There are also instances of an entire continent being a Devil's Nest.

Talosheim for example could be considered a Devil Nest since it houses numerous monsters. Normally those monsters who live in a Devil Nest normally won't leave their home but knowing the possibility of overpopulation and likelihood of being led by a "King" rank monster is Troubling. 

"Alright I took it simple enough, hunting some wolf monsters."( Nezuko )

"Ours is investigating the devil nest."

"I guess I'll take this hunting Minotaur monster horn." ( Justine )

They took the fliers, giving it to the receptionist to record their quest since there is a penalty when failing a quest. He took and split up where Trese headed to the public library that was only accessible for anyone. 

Though, there is a fee that needed to be paid but with a small clone that Ryuu placed with each of his lovers allowed her to access it. 

"Be sure to not be reckless!"

"I know, Kaa-san. Maybe I could tame those wolves too."

"You can try but know that taming a monster isn't that easy considering their savage mind."

The reason why monsters have a savage mind was due to the nature of their creator which were evil gods and the Demon king himself who only sought to dominate the land. 

Though, it varies to Evil gods considering some monsters have some intellect such as Noble Orc which are superior types of Orcs. 

Parting their ways, Ryuu headed toward their quest with Kie who considered it as a date. He spread his [ Byakugan ] and found what they were looking for. 

"Hmmm? Are you alright, Kie?"

"How can I be alright when Nezuko runs off on her own." 

She was anxious since her daughter decided to take a job on her own. Ryuu understood her turmoil since even himself was wary of her leaving on her own. 

"She'll be fun since Blue came with her and I have some of my clones to keep her safe."

"*Sigh* I should already be used to this…."

"It's fine since you're just being a protective mother. Perhaps when we have our own I would act the same."

Ryuu said without thinking while Kie blushed at the thought of having her own child with him. She became flustered and tried to calm herself then smile imagining carrying their own child. 

"W-We think about that later in life. It would be bad if I became pregnant when I know I'm still weak." 

"That won't be that long but yes let's postpone the thought for now."

The two continued their stroll until arriving at cave settlement spreading their senses, finding the place was a place where Orc had settled in. The Orcs weren't like those in the world of warcraft; rather they had pig or boar heads. 

Their quest was supposed to only investigate but Ryuu decided to fight it which was normally done by a party of C class adventurers. This is the best way to skip the ranks and have people notice his presence at least. 

Ryuu wasn't an explosion of attention but enough to acquire the interest of certain people namely the S class Randolf "The True" and the Ketchup, Heinz along with his party. 

"This is going to be quite troublesome."

He muttered seeing they were some kidnap people inside the cave and likely became sex slave by this monster. Ryuu could care less about them but dislike the bitter taste when he could prevent their death. 

Unlike normal monsters, this creature is smart enough to hold the human hostages. Ryuu decided to do it swiftly and molded his arms into a crossbow before shaping an arrow made out of his [ Bone magic ] that is a lot stronger and tougher when applying his [ Blacklight virus ]. 

The guarding monsters were swiftly and silently killed without alarming the people. Ryuu and Kie used [ Shundō ] to get closer before absorbing the orcs into his Hive.

"Kie be ready since there are some people inside that might need your help."

"Then we can't waste anymore time!"
