Chapter 124 - Unpleasant experience.

I just want to tell y'all that update would be slower than before since school is f*cking us side ways. though, I'll try at least 1 per day as much I can.

Running through the forest, Nezuko wholeheartedly laughed while riding her precious stead blue as the two began their hunt for monster wolves. Her outlook in life and becoming more free had let her express the things she enjoys. 

It was a complete shift of personality to that of the anime counterpart. Any of hardcore fans of kimetsu no Yaiba would likely not see the parallel after knowing her personality. 

After learning about all manners of creature made it her goal to hunt and tame every single one or at least the one she's interested in. 

"Hahaha Go faster, Blue!"

"Roar!"

Blue quietly roared and increased his speed following the smell of wolves. After ranking up into a Raptor, Lead had increased every aspect of his skills and easily found the group of Dire wolves that were feasting on human remains. 

Nezuko grimaces looking at the corpse but focuses her attention on the wolves who growl at her arrival. 

"I'm sorry we had to do this." 

She understood it was just their nature for survival and didn't intend to harm without reason. 

This is also the reason that those who have intellect are more monsters than this beast since even though they had reason they still prefer violences. 

Nezuko unmount herself by backflipping that informed Blue what to do and quickly launch himself to attack one of the wolves while the flame girl did a finger gun in midair and shot the monster without doing much damage that instantly killed the dire wolves.

It was a mercy kill using her mastery over flames to perfectly control how much and precise her fire is. Ryuu told her to swiftly kill if she doesn't harm an enemy and only wish to kill them with mercy. 

She is still kind in nature and never wishes to harm anything but when the time is needed it would result in it. 

Nezuko landed on her feet and killed all the fire wolves. She sighed walking her way to the monster and gave a small prayer. 

"You did a great job, let me dismantle it for you."

Soon the small clone of Ryuu reformed itself and helped dismantle the monster in order to bring back to the adventurer guild. After a while, the clone changed back once he handed the materials collected from the monster.

Justine used her [ Shundō ] to head where the reports of a Minotaur had been spotted with strength comparable to a Noble Orc. Even a simple Rank 4 Young Minotaur could easily crush large rocks. 

She didn't have any plans on how to fight one but expected it to boost her abilities even further. Justine only lacked powerful enemies that is enough to let her slowly grow stronger. 

It didn't take her much time to arrive where she spotted a towering horned Minotaur whose whole body was built to take a hit. 

Justine didn't hesitate to push leap into the air and punch the monster straight to the faces without realizing that the place was infested with minotaur.

"Oh you're still alive?"

She muttered after sensing the minotaur tried to stump her. The minotaur were easily around 10-20 meters wielding axes and large warhammers. 

Justine evaded the attack and appeared next to the ankle of the monster and struck it with immense force causing the monster to roar in pain. 

"I wonder what rank you are?"

Minotaur that she was a fighter were a challenge even for a B class adventurer as the monster before her is Rank 8 High Minotaur. However, She could give less about their danger and focus on beating every single one of them.  

Justine took deep breaths to increase her strength by shrouding herself in Aura before starting slaughtering the minotaur one by one. The first one to die by her hands when she broke off their horns and used to stab it into its neck. 

Appearing like a rampaging monster, She gradually grew stronger every hit that the monster landed. The remaining minotaur slowly saw their breathing being massacred like nothing felt their instinct halted. 

"Who's next?"

Justine said with her hands and face soaking in monster blood causing the minotaur to step back in fear. The sound of monster screaming could be heard throughout the forest. 

"I think I went overboard again…"

Standing on top of the monster with her clothes and body had small cuts that easily closed itself. After she sobered herself from the fight realize how the place was littered with monster corpses. Justine felt tired fighting a group of minotaur that were around 20 in number. 

Even a whole city would likely be abandoned if there isn't a B class adventurer party. 

"Hey Ryuu can you prepare pizza for me later? Doing this crap should have some reward."

She shouted at the clone that was healing and turning the monster into his monster. The clone was disappointed that Trese wasn't with them to resurrect the minotaur into a shadow minotaur.

It was unfortunate that Ryuu was unable to devour soul since his power only attacked the genetics of any creature. 

"Yeah yeah, once you head to the adventurer guild just report about the minotaur and not tell them you killed it."

"I know, stay low as much as possible. I'm more interested in fighting than the silly adventurer."

"You shouldn't be down since once everything goes according to plan then we will head to the Noble Orc Empire."

Once they finished, they headed back to the duchy to meet up with Shinobu, Kanae and Mitsuri who decided to head with them.

Heading inside the cave, Ryuu and Kie easily located the Orc infestation where they were devouring human carcasses. It was too gruesome that he signaled for Kie to stay behind and cast herself a spell to calm herself.

Even if she was slowly getting used to these things, it didn't mean it would always be pleasant. Ryuu does have disturbing power that would make anyone vomit but he rarely shows it. 

"Come forth."

At that moment, his red trench coat moved before several xenomorph raptors appeared and dashed their way to the middle of the orc's feast. Ryuu brought out his [ Rebellion ] and joined in the fun, slicing his body before any of them could react. 

The cave system was large showing that it wasn't any normal cave rather a dungeon. He reaches out his hand and pierce them inside out with their blood. Ryuu wouldn't be able to use this technique when the person has Magic Resistances and Status affects Resistance.

"Amplify! Mana bullet!"

At that moment one of the heads of the force exploded into a million pieces and Ryuu saw Kie helped him by casting a spell that she learned after training [ No attribute magic ].

This kind of magic is common and doesn't contain any attributes that contain a variety of spells namely Appraisal, Mana Bullet, Telekinesis, Mana transfer, etc. Though, it is still a lot weaker than a Mana that has an attribute.

Fortunately, Kie ability is to enchant anyone, even herself and by doing so allowed her to amplify the weaker and slow Mana bullet into a powerful blast of energy enough to obliterate an orc head.

"Thanks, Kie and nice work."

"You're welcome but we should hurry and save the people."

Ryuu wanted to enjoy the fight but Kie was far too concerned for the people that he had to end it quickly. He called out monster servants and unequipped [ Rebellion ] before shapeshifting his arms into claws. 

At that moment, he plunges his claws into the ground causing a massive spike to protrude from the ground and instantly pierce every inch of the orc's body. Once the spikes were embedded through their body, he immediately absorbed their biomass into his body. 

"I'm done here, let's go."

Kie was happy that despite his disappointed expression was willing to listen to her wishes and quickly reward him with a kiss. This re-energizes Ryuu forgetting his disappointment and focuses on finishing their job.

After a while, the two rescued the woman captured and pleasant is the last thing that would come to mind when witnessing everything before them. 

"This is troubling…Kie sorry if you had to see that."

"I-It's…I'll just cast healing spells on them."

Kie used her magic to fully heal the woman who had their limbs sliced removing the small cuts while Ryuu used his biomass to restore their limbs without infecting them and devoured the fetuses of the orc in their body.

He was thankful that his [ Gamer Mind ] helped him in this situation and also Kie but only slightly. Ryuu then removed all memory about their experience since recalling everything would only make them wish to die.
