I am... Doflamingo?

"Doffy, what are you waiting for?"

In front of me stood three individuals. One was a tall man with a thick mustache. Another was a beautiful woman who looked fragile from one glance. And the final was a little boy, whose hair was covering his eyes.

'Doffy?'

Confused, I directed my eyes to my left and right. There stood many hostile-looking adults, glaring at the three people in front of me. One notable characteristic was that all of them wore a fishbowl like a helmet, and coupled with their space-suit-like costumes, they seemed idiotic in my eyes.

'...Huh?'

My eyes slowly widened in realization. Raising my shaky hands up, I gazed on them; they were thin and small. I was no longer a grown-up man, but a small child at the age of 8.

Reaching for my face and taking off the sunglasses that darkened the world around me, I inspected my surroundings once more. Doffy, three people, fishbowl people... it didn't take much for me to realize, that this was the world of One Piece.

"...Doffy?"

Not hearing the worried faces of my family, I looked down. I was standing on somehow-solid cloud, and as I lifted my foot up slightly, I was able to better feel its soft and bouncy texture.

'...Donquixote Doflamingo.'

That was my name, I came to deduce. The three individuals in front of me—all of them blonde-haired—they were the Donquixote family, one in which the current me belonged to. And it seemed that they were about to forsake their rights as Celestial Dragons and live down there—

'—No.' I found my face paling up, and my heart stopping upon realizing what situation I currently was in. Upon descending, the whole family will be tortured and beaten beyond belief. The anger-filled civilians will target all their accumulated hatred at them, and Homing will then realize of how naïve he's been.

"...Father."

Therefore, I spoke.

"Let's not go down there."

"...What do you mean by that, Doffy?" Homing worriedly asked, wondering if something was wrong with me, "Did you forget what your mom and I told you a day before? Of how we are humans just like them, and—"

"HOMING!!!" One of the fishbowl-wearing Celestial Dragons shouted, "DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK THAT BLASPHEMY IN FRONT OF US!!!"

"..." Homing closed his mouth timidly, before sighing and holding his hand out, "Come, Doffy. Let's leave here."

Leave and be tortured? Get your own family killed by a stupid decision filled with nothing but obliviousness?

Right or not, I found myself filled with frustration. My face gradually turned into that of a scowl, which induced nervousness out of the three blondes.

"...No." With my fists clenched tight, I whispered, "I'm not going."

"H-Huh?" Homing, thinking that he's heard it wrong, stuttered, "W-what did you say just now, Doffy?"

"..." Biting my lips, I placed the sunglasses back on my face. Filled with various emotions—ones that I didn't know if they belonged to me or not—I said,

"Must I repeat twice, insolent humans?"

My father, Homing, and mother paled up. My blonde-haired little brother, Rosinante, came to shiver, instinctively feeling the fright in his parents. Turning away from them, I growled,

"If you are going to leave, leave already and don't tarnish our dignity any further."

"DOFFY!! WHAT—"

"Refer to me as Saint Doflamingo. A god can't be a mere human's son, and starting from today, there exists only one member in the house of Donquixote."

"...Ho."

"...At least one of them hasn't lost his mind."

Staring at me, the other fishbowl-wearing Celestial Dragons' eyes flashed in amazement. Suppressing the rising feeling of disgust in me, I barked,

"SCRAM, BUGS!!"

And that day, on my first day of arrival into the world of One Piece, I became a scum who cut ties with his kind family.
