　　Rage flowed through me at the idiocy of Jakes wolves, there really was no need for them to howl as they approached us. They were supposed to be stealthy. It was our one chance to stop Violet, we would have had the element of surprise had they done as asked but their noise distracted me. All it took was those few seconds and she was gone.
