I was randomly walking through Adonis's chambers since I was home alone. It was Friday afternoon and it was one of the rare days when I was not needed in the lab. The week had been terribly hectic so I decided to take a day off. I knew Adonis would not be here since he had been terribly busy trying to handle the Iris situation.

I had barely seen him in the past week. He left extremely early and came back late. We would have dinner together before going to bed for the past week. It was no secret I was bored out of my mind. Gino was with Adonis most of the time and I could not even hang out with Adriano since he was out of the country.

I would have bothered my parents but they were both busy, leaving me to fend for myself. I sighed wondering what I was going to do until I heard the chambers door open followed by footsteps. I quickly ran to the noise and there was Adonis speaking on the phone in Greek.
