I sat on the bed like a depressed fool in my shorts and my backstabber's hoodie. Morning sickness had hit me hard and I barely had energy to go downstairs in the large castle.

As soon as we arrived last night I was too drained to fight Adonis anymore and fell asleep almost immediately. I knew Adonis was the one to get me ready for bed and was trying to slither his way back in my good books by giving me one of his hoodies.

I had no idea where he was since I woke up in an empty bed. Not that I cared though. I would have probably strangled him in my sleep. Adonis walked in just as I felt the anger rise in my chest with a tray of food and cups of tea.

"Morning my love," he sheepishly smiled as he placed the food down on the table in front of the large window that had a beautiful view of the forest.
