The Throne

"So how was your night with Adonis in your apartment?" Gino smiled.

"Absolutely magical," I swooned making Adriano laugh.

"Sounded like it too," he said under his breath but loud enough for me to hear. We all broke out into a fit of laughter before calming down when Rain looked at us like we were a complete inconvenience in his life.

It had been a day since we had returned to the Palace. My office was being fixed up with the small adjustments I had made. Adonis and I agreed that I would come to Parliament every Monday and Thursday. Wedding planning had been surprisingly calm, probably because Adonis handled most of it.

My coronation as second King would take place in six months after the wedding. Adonis explained that it had to take place six months to a year later to give the public enough time to see if I was fit enough to sit alongside him on the throne.
