For My King

Waking up this morning felt extremely different than my usual routine. Normally I woke up to check on Blue and Rain with Adonis's help. We would give them their morning bath, I would feed them whilst Adonis got ready for work, and we would have breakfast together before he left for parliament or the office.

Today though I woke up with butterflies in my stomach and my heart racing when I realized it would be my first official day as King to step in for Adonis. It would be different since I could not just make a short walk to his office to ask him something but I would be learning his schedule.

Learning about what he has been doing for the past few months with Apollo as he will be helping me. I was not exactly sure if it was a wise idea to hand over the reins of the country to me but I had to help Adonis in some sort of way.
