Adonis had said we were going back to the Palace to celebrate him making an honest man out of me but instead we dropped off Blue and Rain with Rosalia before he swooped me back into his arms and took us back to the car.

"Are there more surprises? Are you going to take me to an opera again?" I gasped.

He looked at me with an amused facial expression and raised eyebrows. "I think I've spoilt you too much."

"What? You're the one who has given me high expectations with your romantic ways," I batted my eyelashes and grinned.

"Well now I'm scared I'm going to disappoint you," he laughed. I was about to respond to him but then the view of his house on Palace grounds came to sight.
