I checked the time as I worked to make sure I was not late to meet Adonis for when he picked me up. Today he was taking me to the vault to reveal his family secrets! Not really because there was a waiting period before that but he wanted to introduce me to some of the important things.

From the moment we had gotten married Adonis had been grooming me on how to become a King. I knew it was something he was very passionate about and he felt good he could finally share his knowledge with someone. It amazed me how he was able to remember traditions that were created three hundred years ago.

I could remember the scientific name of plants by heart but that was because I had a passion for them. I had no idea how I was supposed to remember what colours we were not allowed to wear for certain public events, especially in this modern day and age.
