"We have arrived my Prince," someone said pulling me out of my thoughts. It seemed I had zoned out once again which seemed to be a common recurrence these days.

I looked to the older man who had been our family's driver for years with a kind smile, "Thank you Simone."

"My pleasure, you father and mother will be waiting for you on the other side."

With a curt nod I allowed for the guard to open the car door for me and climbed out. I fixed the tie around my neck and made sure my suit was free from any wrinkles as I climbed up the Palace entrance steps. It was early summer and I would have much rather preferred to be by the beach with friends, but the responsibilities of the future King were a never ending list.
