Ezra
I had barely slept the entire night. For the longest time I sat on my bed with my legs pulled to my chest as I looked out the window of my room. Whenever I tried to fall asleep all my thoughts would come hammering against a door in my mind. I would be riddled with 'what if' scenarios and even more worries.
The dinner I was served last night was barely eaten and I regretted the choice greatly. Adonis had explained my chambers were like an apartment and I could explore them as much as I wanted. The kitchen was stacked with food and I was more than welcome to eat, but it still felt so weird that the chambers he spoke so casually of, were like a mansion to me.
My whole life had been flipped upside down and a part of me feared I would never get used to it. The sun had risen hours ago and I was too lazy to even check the time. I just hoped all of this was some twisted dream and I would wake up from it.
