[Bonus chapter] Becoming a Prince

After my conversation with Adonis I felt torn. A large part of me still had a lot of anger towards her but the fear that I would one day lose her also made my stomach twist.

Adonis had explained to me that he was breaking a lot of protocol for me, but when it came to my mother he did not have much control over the situation. I understood his point of view. He had a mother of his own and he had to be loyal to her even though she was gone. 

She was the past Queen and my mother had bought a lot of pain to their family without them knowing the cause. She could not stay in the Palace where their mother had lived and therefore it was up to me what I wanted to do.
