Dumb and Drunk

Ezekiel

I stood by my front door with my hands shoved into the pockets of my jeans, a hoodie, barefoot and a deep frown on my face as I watched Lucy climb out of her car. More hunch over and sort of throw herself. Her stomach was rounder than last time and she opted to wear slippers by how swollen her feet were.

Her dark hair was let down and had more volume then I remembered. Her skin had a healthy glow to it and she had gained some weight which made her look beautiful in her long creamy dress.

When she saw me a shy expression spread on her face before she turned to close her car door. She waddled up to me then let out a sigh, "Ezekiel."

"Lucy," I simply moved out of her path to let her in. "Do you want a glass of water?"
