Chapter 106

It was night when Dylan got home from the office. He wasn't supposed to come in today, but he had to leave what he was doing earlier because there was a problem with the deliveries of their medicines to other drugstores.

He needed to be there to calm their clients down, who were pissed off and ready to sue his pharmaceutical company because of the late deliveries.

Dylan sighed tiredly, then sat down on the long sofa and closed his eyes. He wanted to rest, but he couldn't.

"Dylan." His mother's voice filled his ears. "Why is Kirsty there at her house? Didn't I tell you that the husband and wife are living together in the same house?"

He opened his eyes. "We just have a problem."

The mother raised her eyebrows. "Oh, it's over? You're just going to be there? Go. You're going to have a good time."

"I'm just going to take a shower," he said and stood up, then went upstairs to his room.
