Eldar waved his hand. William, Elura, and Doravoli were unable to make any defensive moves. The light slap on Elura's forehead suddenly made Elura's head glow like a light bulb.
Then the light from Elura's head infected William and Doravoli like a living virus. William said nothing because he felt no danger, but his body was too stiff to move even if he wanted to.
With time, a thin, almost invisible line began to form between the trio.
Eldar smiled and looked at them.
"Well, here's the thing in a nutshell." He pointed at Elura first.
"You are my little team of heroes. You are the golden-crowned, angel-hearted heroes who will raise the ancient tree elves from the ashes, like some ridiculous prophecy. By the way, don't worry about what I call a hero, I don't want you to be like a real hero. After all, I am holding you by force in a way." The Eldar smiled.
