Amelia Russi Antonov is ready for her high school after years of being homeschooled and treated like a baby. And leaving alone with your best friend Liam king, without your family is not easy.

Ignoring all those thoughts, all those flashbacks Amelia says, "Tell me, Ace" 


Ace takes a deep breath, not liking where it is going. He knows he knows how to hurt Amelia really is and he knows what's happening to her but there was a bigger problem on his hands. 


"Amelia, I know how sensitive this topic is. I know that there are a lot of things going on but there is something you must know" Ace says, his voice filled with emotions. Ace was feeling bad for breaking this out to Amelia but it was important. 


"Ace...what is it? Tell me" Amelia pleads. Her heart thumps in her chest as she waits for Ace to break the news to her. 


"War is coming" Ace whispers, his voice so quiet as if he was mumbling to himself. Ace himself was scared but he didn't let that show.
