As Sun closes the gate behind him and walks towards their main door, he still cannot connect the relevance between the majestic full moon in the sky and today’s date.
“The chain – no man can move it like that,” said he to himself, recalling his ordeal earlier. “Being able to petrify one and hitting someone else with a lightning bolt?” he continued.
He looks at his watch; it is twenty minutes past seven; he arrives just in time for dinner.
“Sawadee nong Sun. Good timing - dinner is being prepared,” greeted Aunt Mika after he passes through the threshold.
“How was your trip to the Helmans?” asked Uncle Jek.
“Sawadee uncle, auntie. I stayed there for lunch. Exeter left me his hard disk, his laptop, and some money from our account,” he answered.
“Did they give you anything relevant to his death or the case?”
“Krap. They gave me the name of the persons – two police officers – who helped file the case against the mastermind. I think I can begin there.”
