Yuna is playing with her doll at the little patio in the front of their house, waiting for her foster father – Remil Wattana. An elderly lady is seated at the corner watching her play.
After winning over Maledict Mingkit’s case, Mil resigned from being a prosecutor and settled for a simple job as a law teacher at a university in Bangkok. Considering that he lives at Kanchanaburi, Mil spends most of the week in the capital city while renting a cozy, studio-type room that is near the university where he teaches. He only comes home on Fridays, spends the weekend there, and comes back the following Monday morning. With luck, he can spend longer days in the countryside if there are holidays.
Mil got Yuna from the adoption process, which concluded after Mingkit was convicted. It was his boyfriend Ren who named him as the next legal guardian of the girl through his last will and testament. Ren had been arranging the documents for adoption as early as before Mil and he became a couple.
