Chapter 81

Five hands made of concrete slowly emerge out of the circle under Guy’s feet. Two hold Guy’s arms and spread him out, while another pair stretches his legs apart. The last one, which is thrice bigger than the other four with rounded spikes covering the knuckles, moves itself in front of Guy, assuming a punching position when it stops. He has been weakened greatly and is gasping for air. If not for the four hands that hold him, he would have fallen helpless on the pavement. Apart from the concrete hands, glass pins about a millimeter in width with sharp and glowing ends appear in the air. They move afterwards so that their searing side is facing their restrained target.

“He’s had enough P’Khan. Stop now. Please,” begged Sun, trying to stop his Sentinel from potentially killing someone.
