Sun almost loses his balance as he sees his Grumpy in front of him with Mags on his shoulders. Overwhelmed with mixed emotions running through him all at the same time, he caresses Exeter’s face: it has no sliver of disguise in place, and all he can see is just the handsome boyfriend whom he had a relationship with back in the Human World, whom he once went in a foreign trip with, and whom he once shared his goal in life with.
“I hope you will forgive me, Snobby, for having to hide to you that I was your Sentinel,” started Exeter.
“Grumpy, you did not have to do that,” said Sun, holding Exeter's hand that is on his cheek using both of his. “I would've been happier if you told me the truth.”
“I cannot risk it, Sun.” Exeter’s use of the name shifts the conversation to serious.
“Risk what?” Sun sounds frustrated, although, he does not have what it takes to be mad at Exeter considering that this is the first time he has seen him again.
