Epilogue

Dauwan Pitchitara took six years to finish medical school unlike Tas, Nom, Mochi, and Guy who were able to do it in five. It is because, first, he stopped for one semester when he solved Exeter’s death. Second, he was delayed for one semester when he failed a subject under Doctor Erich Magnus: during Sun’s examination, he did not do the proper way of making an incision in three out of the five body parts indicated in the test questions.

Indeed, the warning that Exeter gave him about a teacher named Magnus came true. However, one failed subject did not hinder Sun from going forward and finishing his medical course. Now, he is just one step closer to being a licensed surgeon. As he walks to the stage on his graduation day, and after being announced as one of the graduates with honor, Tas, Nom, Mochi, Guy, Pon, and Gan lead the cheers in the audience.
