Chapter 10 - I'm Sorry

James looks offended.

Out of everything he could have minded, it's very much the fact that Lia compared him to the person who's known to have a mindset of the medieval period.

That's what is really setting things off for James because he really can't come to terms with the fact that she compared him to none other than Mr. Matthews.

He looks at her dead in the eye as if asking her to repeat what she had just said in case he had heard it all wrong because he doesn't like that he's called out to him for having an old mindset because where? When? How? Or did she even mean that because James has no idea.

He probably heard it all wrong, that's all. There can be no way he was called out on having a mindset of ages back. He's just twenty seven! Just a few years older than these freshers and yet they act like they're newborn people!

James' mind is running in all directions and he can not let that happen so he leans in and bends down to be right in front of her face.
