"Miss Lia."
"Lia works just fine."
"Right. So, Lia." James looks around and turns his back to Lia before picking up something from his table as he moves the files all over. Lia just watches him while he pauses mid sentence.
She's been standing here for the past five minutes and still isn't aware of the reason that's keeping her here. Lia's feet are wanting to rush to get her name registered for the dance club.
That's actually all there is on her mind and she doesn't quite think she'll be able to get past it unless she actually takes the very first step towards it.
Five years ago, Lia was weak. Fragile but today she's much stronger and does not care for what anyone wants to do as she will do whatever she wants to. Absolutely no one can stop her or snatch something she loves away from her.
Her parents might have had that right years back but now they don't and Lia has made that clear occasionally and from time to time.
